Default BUG: Force Critical Ritual don't applicate to Nightforge Spike.

After i'm get Nighforge Spike and successfully bind and attuned it, i'm try applicate Force Critical Ritual next.

    Unsuccesfully.

Message was: "Failure! The device shudder ominously, then emits a threatening rumble.Nothing else seems to have happening" - same as one of reagent absend.

Reboot, relog - same error message.

To be sure, i'm try same ritual with same reagents on generic CC weapon (shuriken)... and, of course, successfuly!

Anyone else have same issue with Nightforged weapons?

it used to fail on shurikens (& hence all throwers?). Are you sure it worked on your shuriken?

I was under the impression that those rituals only worked on randomly generated weapons anymore.

No, it's works for cannith crafted shuriken, but not works for my beloved Nightforge Spike (11-20/x3 for my Swashbuckler, yea! ).

Yes, i'm pretty sure it worked on my shuriken, because now my shuriken do Force damage when critically hit enemy. 8)

Yes, it's possible, never test with other named/raid loot. But then it's seems not WAI. At least, i'm never read about Stone of Change rituals works only for random loot but not for named/raid loot before.

I've got a Bow of the Silver Flame and a Serpentbranch with the ritual on them.

I'd verify ingredients, the only time I've seen this is when I had the wrong stuff, or not enough. I know that seems to be rather condescending, but since I have named items with the ritual on them, I'm left thinking "Operator Error", or, and this could be, it doesn't like that particular weapon type.

Hmmm... mebbe problem with Cormyrian shuriken or Nightforge Spike because it's not "normal drop" loot, but "crafted" stuff? Cormyrian weapons "crafted"/traded from/for Cormyran Challenge ingredients, Nightforge weapons "crafted"/traded from/for adamantine ore?

Really, any word from dev's would be good... at least what they know about this issue... 8)

These rituals work on named loot, too, maybe this ritual is a select exception.

Else, check the type of bonus to threat range. Maybe it is already there by various enhancements? Force Damage ritual worked for every named weapon of mineas well as crafted stuff of any sort. I expected crit. ritual working as well, depending on bonus type of ritual.

Are you sure, what Force Damage ritual worked for Nightforge Spike or any ES Challenge weapon ( say, spelltouched shurikens)? You proved it itself or just theorize? Of course many rituals worked with some named/raided weapons, but we talk about some concrete stuff.
