Just an observation

I base my experience on 1-2nd edition.

In my opinion Clerics should be overpowered in party buff department. By this I mean that they should have really good party buffs, on top of being solid classes for solo play. Also there should be some reward for healing people and stuff, to make it more exciting. There really should be some sort of reward for healing tings, or mechanic based around that, to make playing heal bot more fun and rewarding.

Also get some heals that have large range, and are not blocked by obstacles, or give clerics huge speed boost, or ability to teleport to other players. Because trying to catch someone to heal is pain.

Warpriest tree needs some major reworking in Ranged department, as it is really **** for Ranged clerics (I ended up using repeater on my cleric, since Silver flame longbow cleric sucks). Seriously. Giving free Zen Archery or something to silver flame clerics would be nice way to remedy this.

Sacred Touch was step in the right direction tho. Merge it with bliss from radiant servant, and it might be worth taking on radiant servant (no clue why its even in this tree tho).

I think when people build their clerics especially war priests many don't take advantage of maxing their Charisma which can be indefinitely added to their strength, aides in turning, and other benefits depending on their enhancements.... Because most of us see wisdom as the primary stat for a class that we initially view as a casting class due to our original perspective of cleric from tabletop D&D.

Now envision 3 paladin/5 fighter/12 Cleric...Elven Kensai Warpriest SWF with Shield and scimtar and you have right there an uber battle Cleric.
