The post for submissions was up for about a month and has been in big red letters on a black background on the home page of the wiki the entire time. I've also announced it on every one of my livestreams as I remember and I'd also announced it on streams of others on DDOstream including streams by Cordovan. I advertised the contest on the wiki's Facebook page and Twitter account when it was posted. I apologize that there was not enough notice for you, but feel free to PM me with what I could do differently next time there is a contest to make sure I reach a broader range of viewers. Thanks!

I believe the comment was referring to how the finalists were picked, not the submission deadline. I personally didn't see anything indicating how the finalists would be determined. Then hours after the deadline passed, there was a new thread with a poll, still with no indication of how finalists were picked. This was before the 2nd post of the poll thread was edited to show the livestream of how they were chosen.

With how quickly things went down, how the finalists were chosen, and the omission of a community favorite, kind of made it all meh.

I had thought I had made those elements clear in my original post; nonetheless, I appreciate your assistance in trying to shed some light on the situation. I'll certainly take it to heart and try to improve for the next contest.

I've corrected the issue of the omission of your community favorite by having it added to the poll as near immediately as it was indicated there was an issue. This has pleased the submitter them-self, and as such I have no intention of taking any further action.

Make a thread in General Discussion, it will ensure it will be read by most forum people. Not many read this Fansite News section and even less read the social media/watch streams.
