From the DDO frontpage is where the date was received -
"Welcome to DDO wiki, a collaboratively edited and written information database for any player of the Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game (MMORPG) Dungeons & Dragons Online (DDO). This website is a comprehensive source of information for everything about this game released on February 23, 2006. Using wiki allows anyone who is a fan of DDO to contribute, and help DDO wiki become a great resource for the game."
It's true that the game was officially launched and released on February 23, 2006, the wiki was created on January 4, 2006. That was all that my comment was about, and since these were submissions for the wiki, I feel/felt that it would've been more appropriate to use the wiki's launch date instead of the game.

Grrowler, that was a fantastic submission. I think you definitely should've won. Maybe I can modify my local DNS server to replace whatever URL they end up using from the winner with yours.

I formally apologize for that oversite/error on my part. I've offered Grrowler the 500TP code that it should have won as a finalist submission. I've checked on the forums and there is no way for me to modify the existing poll, and it wouldn't be fair to the 35-40 people who already voted for me to have to recreate the whole thing from scratch. I've requested information from Cordovan via PM to see if he can modify the poll to add the fourth submission explaining my error.

The post for submissions was up for about a month and has been in big red letters on a black background on the home page of the wiki the entire time. I've also announced it on every one of my livestreams as I remember and I'd also announced it on streams of others on DDOstream including streams by Cordovan. I advertised the contest on the wiki's Facebook page and Twitter account when it was posted. I apologize that there was not enough notice for you, but feel free to PM me with what I could do differently next time there is a contest to make sure I reach a broader range of viewers. Thanks!
