Calling all graphic artists!!!

Hello DDO community! I've been thinking about how times are changing and how the wiki could use a new graphic that represents the wiki.

makes an okay, albeit outdated, logo.

is an old tired home screen image that isn't really what the wiki is about.

So, we're looking for an original graphic/drawing in .xcf (GIMP) or .png format that is 1500x500px and represents what DDOwiki means to or is for the community. I'm calling on anyone who has an idea for an image to create that image and upload it to the wiki linking from here to it. Feel free to use available resources such as the U30 anniversary logo for DDO. I'm looking for as many submissions as possible of which I will pick 3-5 five to be voted on by the community to be the official main/home page image for the wiki. Finalists will receive a 500TP point code and the winner will have their art work displayed on the home page of the wiki as well as the wiki's FaceBook, Twitter, and other social media site pages! We'll be accepting submissions until June 14, 2016 at 8AM Eastern time when the finalists will be chosen on DDOwiki Talk (- https://twitch.tv/ddostream -) and a poll will be posted!

The wiki does allow animated .gif images. Feel free to submit one, I'll have to see what the other wiki administrators and the wiki host, Xevo, feel about it. If there are no objections, it could make the cut for community vote.

My 2CP:

* New logo - YES
* Animated logo - would be rather useless IMO. people don't frequent the wiki to see a bling bling animated logo. they go to get information on the game. If I were a betting man, I'd say that most people don't even notice (or at least pay attention to) the current logo.

Plus it would make some browsers crash (my phone's browser crashed the other day because I followed a link to DDOGamer and it tried to load the gif) and some connections go slower than necessary...

Make sure to put your comments in the administrator discussion on wiki.

So, as a result of polls on various social media and discussion on wiki between the administrators, we will allow animated entries as long as they are only slide show and still shots for each slide are available/submitted. Please see the on-wiki administrator discussion
