windows issue

So, I just bought a new laptop. It is the latest in good graphics, etc. Has a touchscreen, but I use a mouse. I'm having an issue. When I log into the game, everything works great.... until.... I try to use alt+tab to look at another program (like skype or internet explorer). As soon as I do that, when I return to the game, I cannot move my mouse to the far right of the screen, and my L click button doesn't work to interact with the menus. I don't want to do windowed mode because I don't like it and when I do try it, I cannot change my graphics settings because, again, when I try that in windowed mode, my L mouse button won't let me say "yes" to new graphic settings....HELP!

maybe...just maybe, try changing your in game resolution the same as your windows. or set windows to your game resolution.
100% a shot in the dark, but i would try something like that first myself

i see stuff like that on my surface sometimes when it has to change resolutions. i think its something to do with the touch screen.
i go docked undocked allot. at different resolutions. so that's my best guess

another thing you might try is check the mouse settings as such on how it behaves with regards to hiding the cursor... might be it kind of does not re-initialize correctly again when you change back to the game. should be under 'printers and other devices' or something in system settings, rightclick mouse, properties, and look for anything about hiding the pointer, and toggle those settings off.
