Reinforced Fist and the Iron Defender

So I am trying to find a better set of handwraps to make a stronger collar. I have noticed "Reinforced Fists", which +W the damage for Monks "unarmed" attacks.

Does this translate to increased W for the Iron Defender?

I don't see why not. Handwraps become equivalent collars and +W is a pretty straight up mechanic.

Perhaps make one and try it? If I find one I will do so.
