Dark delerium is too trolly in tavern brawl

Its bad enough theres no save. Its worse the cooldowns the same as the duration. Getting trolled for half an hour by a level six at lv 30 is embarrassing. I had to log off and wait for him to leave. Cmon, its worse than fascinatejust make it one of those "not available in tavern brawl" things. or monsters that immune to fear/paralyse are immune to its effects. that could work.

yep, but siren's has charges, this is infinite
also lasts 12 secs w/ 40 sec cooldown

Cooldowns isnt one of the Devs strengths. CD should be always > Duration. Even if only by a small margin.

Probably an artifact of the debug phase.

So if you can get out with Harper's Pin,use tactic to keep warlock on its ass. Trip, Stunning Blow, Stunning shield, etc.

Pretty sure a warlock will have crappy balance skill. Throw in grease or web. Or summon a pet to interrupt the warlock.

The ability itself won't need to be changed, there's plenty of spells & abilities that are simply flagged as "not usable in pvp areas"

I cant get thru his displacement really anyways. only maybe can knock him down if arcane encumberance works with eldritch blasts

Pvp is very rarely used for pvp, it is actually used for testing about 80% of the time. And getting interrupted by a level six is very annoying.

its not a hard fix. just add the "unavailable in tavern brawl". And finding an obscure brawling area, marking both me AND the helper with the testing as anonymous, and hope he doesn't realize that the who list is alphabetical(because an "anonymous" will show up between te and ts) and NOT getting accepted into parties etc because I forgot to unmark- the troll is winning 5-1

If he is actively seeking you out to troll you, the answer is to report him. If he isnt, just gping into an out of the way brawling are is good enough.

How about a spell Absorption item like Jeweled Cloak? Does a no save means the Absorption effect doesn´t work?

It has been a while since I did the whole PvP thing. But if that person is merely spam casting and watching you be helpless, you can report them for harassment.

A level 30 has no way to bypass displacement?

I think it should remain totally as-is.
This is part of the beauty of PvP, in my opinion.
