Default Wolves, What Destiny and Why?

I recently respec'd my Druid from primarily an elemental caster to melee focused Winter Wolf, and I looove it (modified Fenris build). When I was caster heavy, I couldn't wait to run in Shiradi and EA. I'm still unlocking Destinies (Martial sphere atm), and am not sure which I rest in when I'm done. What do you other Wolf Druids prefer and why?

    The melee wolf Druid options...

    Primal Avatar
There is a whole line dedicated to increasing melee DPS and even adding some good defense like evasion.

    Fury of the Wild
The melee abilities and rage plus wisdom enhancements for being raged.

    Legendary Dreadnaught
while the cleaves may not be something you can take advantage of there is still the Haste and even the Tactical enhancements.

The better or the melee destinies are the usual LD and Divine Crusader. I'm not sure what FotW offers outside it's usual 400% dmg hit/knock down and gird against demons, and the chance to run Sense Weakness with Symmetric Strikes and I am not sure Primal Avatar is much better.

    Legendary Dreadnaught
    Pros:
Blitz-+70 Melee Power/30 PRR (or Dodge, but not worth it imo)
    +3 actions boosts
+6 Tactics (not really useful imo. Stunning Blow on a Wolf?, but still.)
.5 weapon damage form Improved Power Attack. It is one of the only few options to increase hit die on a wolf.
    +6 Crit Damage
    +5 Hit/Damage
    +1 Crit Multiplier
+1 Crit Multiplier w/ Axe (if this works).
Some ok damage mitigation with experience
Action Boost CD is 33% faster
+20 PRR with Combat Expertise, if you're build warrants this path with the feat, usually a waste outside of monk.
    highest Melee Power potential

    Cons
No momentum swing/lay waste/pulverizer/anvil of thunder

    Divine Crusader
    Pros
Aura- The baddest thing ever when it stacks.
Zeal- 50 double strike/melee power/ spell power...must take an average of it's affect if you keep it up all the time, which you should.
    +2 crit/confirm
+4 damage with all attacks, meaning spell or melee.
Consecration line- +10% damage, fire and good damage every 3 seconds, and good healing.
Make Paws Good Aligned through weapons with Neutral Good
    +10 PRR/Some Immunities and Absorbtions
The Cleave works if you have more than 10 spell points.
    Wisdom based stun

    Con
You can't get +1 threat range bonus

Primal Avatar's DPS and defensive advantage fail in comparison to either of the above. Symetric Strikes and Unbalanced Attacks make better twist for this build in one of the above. Hence, I don't feel, imo, that other than that line anything is worth mentioning. Summer Smoke sucks and can be inherited from someone else leveling out the destiny.

Other than what I said about Fury in the open paragraph, I don't feel there is much to add. I did my wolf a little different by twf w/ shield mastery. I never played with Unyielding Sentinal, but it may have been interesting to look at. I do no see Fate Singer adding anything.

Tactics from LD would be for Trip. The Take down spell for wolf form uses wisdom and if memory serves me correctly it also uses anything that improves Trip. This can give you a pretty strong trip.

Thanks for the pro and con list, it's very helpful. Divine Crusader is looking appealing.

Thanks, improving my trip might be worth it alone, I'm currently having trouble tripping at level with Take Down but I don't have any combat mastery type gear.
