    EDIT: the super lag spike before eastern wasn't comming with a packet loss, i remember this, cause i was looking at the connection icon, and it didn't say anything about packet loss. i thought this was odd.
    only the latency went really high, like 1200ms and more.

    8. Anything else you think we should know - No perceivable lag on my end while running the raids, no complaints from the group either. Only time there was lag was when Xyzzy died for about 3-4 seconds.

    weds evening tempsest group eh major lag on the run in and ruberbanding to group everyone together no mater which way we moved kept be placed back together! lasted about 5 mins till the arty we were with die and lag stoped and made the run in! Next major experience of lag big room same thing ruberbanding us into groups arty dies lag stops. Fyi this isn't count small spikes these are lags that last 3 or more mins. I noticed a lot of swing, swing, swing and only maybe one hit everyone was getting same experience! And even though on running in it was about 5 of us stuck together all were froze in quest run just us rubberbanding! With the two instance it of major lag and rubberbanding forgot to mention rezs seem to go off! And a lot of luck prevented a wipe there!

    Second quest was en run for some destiny xp through stormhores no major lag until breaking the ranks then half my hits were not connecting slow spell response if i got a it to cast at all! Also something else i would notice after the round was up you rang the bell i would see the mobs come out for first round after that they seemed to just appear on top of me swing or biting. Btw this was solo through the whole chain but that was only quest i had lag! I used a rez cake or would have been a wipe in breaking do to a pop up mob of giants and inability to heal or move!

    Last up was able to do a thunderholme slayers had ocassional lag was also solo nothing game breaking on this one lost swings and spells but no deaths because of it!

    Hope to provide more feedback latter today think i might have more time to play in next couple days!

    LAG only on initial spawn of portal after recon mobs kills. LAG approaching first set of Chests.

    I will be honest that before this raid the only quest run was "The Sky..." flagging quest to help guild members.

    So as has been normal for Shroud - It might be time to look at what calculation is occurring as people run up to the chests in part one.

    Last night I was running solo through ToEE pt. 1 on Heroic Normal, and everything went just fine (no real lag or issues, although boy that's a long quest!) up until the point where I wiped on the last fight. Boo! But, I released and came back in, and was working my way back down to the end fight when I hit near-game-breaking lag just as I tried to use the door from the 2nd level down to the last level. This triggered looooong stretches of being frozen in place with lots of messages appearing "Your connection to the chat window has been lost." "Your connection to the chat window has been reestablished" [although I still couldn't move] "Your connection to the chat window has been lost" "Your connection to the chat window has been lost" "Your connection to the chat window has been lost" -- alternating with briefer stretches of just running in place but no other movement. I had the 'yellow' connection indicator the whole time, for at least 20-30 minutes.

    Eventually things unfroze enough for me to finally take the door down, but very soon I got frozen again just as I was about to entire the mushroom room -- and of course, I got 'unfrozen' enough (but I still couldn't move, mind you) to begin taking damage from the mushroom spores, which immediately killed me. Pretty evil. Rather than waiting who-knows-how-long to get unfroze again, I forced the game to quit.

    Is this going to be where all servers get changed back to the same "changes"?

    And I'm all for improvement, and totally get the "Fix LAG" is more ongoing and not a "silver bullet" thing. Good Luck Turbine.

    2 of subs run out on Friday. I have to be honest I'm more than a little bit reluctant to renew for another month with the way things are Cordovan. It's not just the lag, it's the way the lag and other problems have gutted the Player population the past 4 weeks.

    Glad to hear that you're going to work on it again.

    Last night we tried DoJ again x2, on hard and on normal. Utter fail. Shroud remains unplayable as well. Strangely, I have no issues playing heroics. Even ran a heroic eTS and it was perfect.

    I hope so too.

    We tried EE Deathwyrm on Cannith last night (3/30), it didn't go well. Lag made RL/GL an exercise in mass suicide. Even though we would stop as soon as green changed to yellow, each red would delete 4 or so charges of our Jeweled Cloaks/Stones. They were quickly depleted and soon we had whole raid wipes that had to be saved by Jibber'ing. I accepted a rez as soon as we had a green light, then didn't touch keyboard nor mouse, and sat with arms crossed over my chest, and still died during the next red light.

    Tonight (3/31) we had better results. We did a LN HoX, LH TS, and EE FoT. The lag was almost non-existent in LN HoX. The guild renown lags in spine were much better, for what it's worth, but I still got teleported into the previous room after boss died for no apparent reason. In, FoT the lag was much better than before, but still had some renown lag spikes as dragon/giants died. I think both raids were the only raid happening on the server, so maybe that is why it was better, don't really know.

    Edit: Forgot to add we did EE FoT with only 8, so maybe that's why it wasn't too laggy.

    The tiny number of actual reports after the update Tuesday is really alarming. In an active game I would have expected 100s or even 1000s of quality reports. Instead there are barely 20 (and some posters even forget to mention their server making the report a bit pointless).

    I wonder how they can use these reports when there is barely 1 raid related report per server...

    In a way this is even more alarming that the lag itself.

    Well most of us have quit. I auctally left a few months before the transfer because i felt the lag was so bad in raids that they were unplayable. Then they go and move and it gets worse. This game has had game breaking lag in raids since deathwyrm but no one ever adressed it ( i made a few posts I am sure others have ) so they kept adding content and more laggy raids!

    I check back from time to time to see if they have fixed this yet , because i love this game and am very sad to they let it fall apart.

    I honestly can't understand why most of u still play this game , there r alot of other good mmo's with hardly any probelms like this. Oh and a few of them r f2p. U guys r paying and getting **** in return. Wished i could sell **** onn the corner and have ppl lining up to buy it.

    Server is Cannith
    Yesterday
    Time was about 16.00h to 22.00h GMT.

    The day before yesterday, i had serious recurring frozen Screens for about 5+ sec ~ every Minute in King´s Forrest instance and a few lesser frozen Screens in all Saga quest, but everything was gone and completely lag free, as well solo as in Party.
    I ran barb, fighter and Monk in different quests and Partys or solo.
    Meridia and it s quests were lag free all the week.
    A shortmanned of 6 Doj was totally lagfree, even at the gate when the DevilCommander and his friends spawn and the raid gets locked.
    LG HoX was smooth like a smoothy.
    Underdark instance and saga were lag free
    Demonweb was lagfree.
    Dailys were lagfree ( i had a solo lock up in Von3 a week ago)
    Gambit chain was lagfree

    That was yesterday ... and everything was as good or even better as usual (see DoJ). If it stays like this for the future i´ll be happy.

    This is an interesting post. summing up: it says no lag on thursday, but lots of lag on wednesday. Now I don't think there was any changes done inbetween those days, server wise or whatever. Assuming it's not an april fools attempt, it makes me wonder. Basically it either means that Turbine has been changing something non-restart-non-code-related inbetween, or something changed on your configuration/connection/routing/whatever.

    one report is not a good sample size, but if you changed anything on your end of things, I for one would be curious to know what that was.

    yesterday

    started Legendary hard hound: some strange aggroing with dogs (maybe lag not 100) othervise quite smooth: done with 12ppl
    After legendary shroud hard: started 12 man, hard lag- close to wipe several times in p1, one player left, at p2 we couldnt finish it off cause of low dps and lag and dear devil being to hard to manage for us.
    With no lag we had probably made it.
    Jumped on a legendary normal shroud instead directly after, 11 man, low lag- done easy.

    today 30min before maintenance:
    epic elite chronoscope: (now with low population on server)
    No lag at all, even on yellow/orange alert. Done fast and easy with 5-10 min left before shutdown.

    Conclusion from my point of view (i live in Sweden): it gets better and better the dear raid scene :-), but lots to do still- especially on doj, leg shroud, deathwyrm and especially harder difficulties.
    (I feel how i have changed- i propose and ask raids to do normal instead of hard/elite- before i always wanted to try as hard as possible, now its not fun just lose cause of lag)

    (toons involved: 30 warlock, 30 favored soul and 15cleric4fighter)
