Deep Gnome Iconic OPtion

Hello all,
As to the ability to take my lvl 20 standard toon, and perform an iconic reincarnation, is this even possible?

I want to take my competitionst and perform this reincarnation, so i can play with the Deep Gnome race for the Wisdom options.

If your asking can you TR a lv 20 non-iconic toon into an iconic toon, then yes.

If your asking can you TR a lv 20 non-iconic toon into an iconic toon, then yes.

If you have a non-iconic toon and randomly goto to some epic level like, 24, you can still IR and not have to wait till 30. Once you IR tho, you're stuck till L30 to be able to IR or HR again.

A minor clarification. The type of true reincarnate you do is based on your current life, not the one you will become. So since you are a "standard toon" now, you will be doing a standard Heroic True Reincarnate. (not an Iconic Reincarnate). After any TR you have the choice of becoming a standard or Iconic toon for your next life.

So if you are not iconic now, you can TR at 20 and become a deep gnome. Its just a standard Heroic TR not an Iconic TR.

As to doing a standard heroic TR, i just completed my last paladin life, and TR'd, but had to select just Gnome. Deep Gnome wasn't an option for me to select.

That is why I was wondering if I had to perform an iconic TR?

If you have access to Deep Gnome (either you purchased deep gnome in the store or are VIP), It should be an option after the TR.

One thing to note though, you choose to be an iconic on the first screen of the reincarnate process. From memory, I think your choices on that screen are Mellee, Spell, Specialist or Iconic.

Iconics are both a race and an initial class so you choose them at the point you would be selecting your first class, not later in the process when you would be selecting a standard race.

Didn't realize that, so now that I know, (and knowing is half the battle), let me go play around with it...
