Gnome Barbarian (How do I int built?)

Hi all. A little new here but I have the gnome iconic class and Id really like to play a barbarian and use hammers to take advantage of the gnome racial.

How can I build this? I would be willing to LR the 1 wizard off. Anyone have a suggestion?

Why do You want to run with an INT build? Because the +4 difference between INT and STR? (well, thats +2 attack/dmg)
Easier to go with an STR build, otherwise you have to waste action points in harper tree, get gear for sp (to use know the angles) etc and that dps can be gained by spending points in barb trees. My 28pts gnome pure barb runs everything with ebb just fine (on heroic).

Note that while gnomes gain free warhammer prof, it's not one of the boosted melee weapons: "light hammers, light maces, light picks, shortswords." And unfortunately the +1 crit range bonus from gnome racial doesn't stack with other competence bonuses like Crit Rage, Keen Edge, or Swashbuckling; though it should stack with Focused Wrath or Bond of Retribution. So that limits your build options further.

Not to mention, a pure barb gets a +10 str and con while raging. Can't get a boost like that for int.

OTOH, you gain +1/2 INT mod from Know the Angles, which past a certain point will be more DPS than +10 STR. Still seems like a LOL flavor build to me, though.

Eh, I've gotten a 12 barb, 4 warlock, 4 ranger build to work pretty well on lamannia, especially once I plugged in Unyielding sentinel. The only place I had trouble with was EE ToEE, and those guys hit like bricks to the point that you really need a tank.
