Same problem!
Wow didn't notice it till i saw your post but man how could i have been so blind, I have been getting way too many bastard swords! Even though i don't have its proficiency!
But its fixed now....since i can't log into the game in less then 5mins and get booted off in 2mins, so no more bastard swords for me, hooray......not!

I admit I am a tad bit more prolific in the forums thanx to lag issues, but that is my way of helping. I expect Turbine will jump on it and get things worked out so I will shut the hell up. I know better than to scream I am leaving, because I won't. I have yet to find another video game I want to play at all, let alone play more than I want to play DDO. Hell, DDO is the first video game I have wanted to play since Satan's Hollow back in the 80s. So I will be here until it dies, or I do.
So I post more in the forums, run lowbie **** (another completionist in the works) and wait. This is not the first time this has happened. Or the second. I used to ***** and scream and get worked up. Still do to a certain extent, but I know now not to get my panties in (much of) a bunch. I also know "lag" will never be "fixed". It will always be there in some shape or form. I just want it back within manageable limits.

heh.. I have thought several times it would be cool to have luck an attribute that would apply to bastard swords. If I am going to rake them in by the dozen anyway, I think it would be cool to pick up a
