Divine Crusader question....

I have both the tier 2 ability "Smite The Wicked" and the tier 6 ability "Strike Down" from the Divine Crusader destiny. It's my active Destiny on my FS.

I've noticed that I can use "Strike Down" and immediately follow up with " Smite". However, if I use "Smite" first I must wait 3 seconds to use "Strike Down" .

""Strike Down" is the only skill that has the 3 second CD after "Smite", no other skills do.

Is this WAI, and if so, can anyone explain why?

Yes Smite does not have a timer but Strike down does and uses Smites and as such puts it on timer as well.
