    I have a first-life, unguilded iconic challenge farmer (based on one I proposed in Ellisdee's excellent thread) that logs in without issues and does not get lagged but my nude runner (in a guild but sans ship
    buffs, no gear etc but past lives) lags a little. I will need to test stuff more with the challenge runner.
    This might be the thing to do now--make a challenge runner (grab an anniversary freebie) and run them unguilded. They may be the most resistant to lag--will post again when I have more playtime (have been unwell in RL).

    Considering how it was before the move for me, this is drastic degradation. I even went through a lot of work to make sure the cable provider out here ensured the stability and quality of the connection.

    Before I had almost no lag ever. And every now and again would have spikes, but nothing unexpected or uncalled for. So I would have said lag was 0 out of 10 on the annoying me scale. And when I had it, it would be a 3 at worst.

    Now it is 3 as a low, and 5 or 6 when questing, and 8 to 9 every 20 minutes or so.

    Default Thrill of the hunt impossible to complete due to studder lag at end fight

    Howlers and shadar-kai at end fight causing studdering, relentless, unplayable LAG. The other previous quests in the chain were also laggy when the tons of mobs spawned for the end fights but it was still playable.

    Running a little experiment on Argo right now. Sitting in a DW raid (10:05pm, CST), and no one has been able to move for ~10 minutes. We decided to sit and see how long it takes before someone DCs. But, we're not DC'ing. We're all chatting on the voice server and chat server. So, no connection problems or overall network issues. Just, whatever thread is running that should be letting us actually play the game is dead. It would be almost comical if it weren't for the fact that I'm paying to play an unplayable game.

    Multiple people pulled a traceroute, and there were no drops and nothing over 50ms between anyone and the server. So, it is definitely server side.

    Time to own up and fix this ****. Seriously.

    ok, experiment over. 10:15 CST. Over 20 minutes, with no one able to move, and no DCs. We can move now, but still extremely jumpy.

    just failed legendary HoX on hard 3 times on Khyber, partly due to lag. saying partly, because one problem was that the group didn#t really stay on top of the spawns so we ended up having a lot of them. the more spawns, the more lag... anyhow, attempts must have been about 8:30 to 9:30 central time.

    Strangely ran a very lag free legendary TS on hard right before that. there was some minor freezes, especially on completion we froze for about a minute, but nothing unbearable.

    The lag on this game has gotten so out of hand lately the game is border-line unplayable, I'm sure you've heard much of it but this lag is completely unbearable and has forced me and no doubt many many others to have to stop playing due to just literally not being able to play. Lagged frozen for literally 4 minutes walking around in sands today without a party just me solo. Not the lag where my screen freezes either, the frozen where everything works but I don't move and if you spam jump once you unfreeze you shoot up mile sinto the air. VoN5 Also awful lag had to sit in the end boss fight for almost 15 minutes on EN with a full party beacause no one could move to attack. There is a pretty consistent ~6 second latency at any time in a quest witha full party, and the load screens are all a bit longer now, and not to mention the ridiculous rubberbanding. I love DDO just as much as the last guy and have gotten used to normal DDO lag but this lag is so consistently terrible it's hard to really do anything. Not sure what all can be done about or when but before the population drops significantly I would do anything in my power to fix this lag. Cheers

    Unplayable lag levels Canith Sat 3-19-16 eastern time 10:30 thunderholme explorer area 8 in party. Followed by no lag on wayfinder ran 6 quests solo (Druids deep and Highroad) and some explorer zone adventuring for a couple of hours.

    Approximately 9:30-10:30 Eastern.

    EH & EN Von5 then EE Von6. All 12 person groups.

    Lots of Minute plus episodes of no one in the raid being able to move. During this play session it either everyone lagged or no one did. I know we had people from Central through Alaskan time zones (might have been more, but these are the ones I know for sure.) Not sure what other info you need.

    1:30am pacific - Haunted Halls. Entire party froze up. I'm on Comcast but of course the ISPs varied in the party.

    We had the same problem in Lord of Blades, HE, at about the same time. It lasted well over 5 minutes. We had a lag wipe, but got lucky in that we had a couple of people with Jibber's Blades who were able to get the party back up once the lag spike passed.     Sat 3/19 3pm 3 person party.. HE WGU totally unplayable all of us lagged at the same time. After 2 deaths due to lag, we recalled. Then did Blown to bits in house C with some lag issues (again everyone in the party), but at least the quest was completeable..... This was on Argo

    19th March 8.15 pm GMT +1 so approx 2.15pm Boston time - Pikers Fate - 9 people, at level, hard completion, no noticeable bad lag, prolly same as before DC move.

    Then Mark of Death Run, approx 9pm GMT +1, 3pm Boston Time, 12 people, normal, completed but only due to grim determination. 71 deaths, total lag fest for everyone, rubber banding, stuck, you name it. Quite honestly I am amazed we finished it - it was a testament to those in the group.

    Then Legendary Hound of Xoriat, circa 9.30pm GMT +1, 3.30pm Boston Time, 12 people, normal, first couple of mins were ok, then when stuff started spawning, lag fest, and we lag wiped before we could kill the doggy.

    2nd attempt, we completed, but was still bad lag.

    Will give them another week, then I'll have to cancel VIP, cos I don't log in since the data center move. I hope they will solve as I love this game.

    Just my 2 coppers but the lag "seems" a bit better but my group noticed it was worse at quest events and actions. Some zone wide lag is still there such as 3BC, Marketplace and Harbor last night.

    I can be in a group moving along fine and then suddenly it is a lagfest. Specifically mass spawns, quest "events" such as completing one phase and starting the next (post boss dialog, DM Dialog, kill x mob, find x, etc.) and Player timed combat events (I don't pay attention to out of combat but may also happen) such as Chains, Many Shot, etc. My teammate says every time he hits his Many shot he gets hit with lag and I know I get a split second of lag when he does it. When I get into trouble on my rogue, I hit Cocoon and Shadow Sprint and at least half of the time when I come back from lagging out I am dead. Many times even though the timers are running they never went off and I am stuck without them until the timers reset. I also noticed sometimes when I go to assassinate and the quest is laggy, I will lag a split second which pops me out of stealth, sets my timer running for assassinate and I freeze for about a second or two. What is odd is sometimes the mobs don't notice me and I am able to re-stealth before they attack me. Fortunately when I hit my chain attack it seems to work even though I lag out, the bad news is when I come back from lagging I don't have as many hit points.

    Good luck on finding the answers but it seems like it is a combination of problems and not a simple fix.
