    Default Character Still Being Saved

    Bought warlock class to give it a try last night, start playing today in a group with son and wife and we go do some korthos quests and old sully grog quest bugs on my and my wife, meaning we buy the grog from the store for 5tp but guy at docks wont complete and prompts us to bu it again, I give that a try and same result and now down 10tp. I figure well dang..not a big deal I'll make that back on the first 100 favor this guy runs but decide to log out and back on incase that foxes it.

    Now I go to log back on and it goes to loading screen but no blue bar starts filling and it shoots me back to character screen with this message "character still being saved". Was unable to log onto my other chars either but after reboot I can log into the other but my warlock is still stuck.

    Any ideas to fix this other than waiting for a server reboot?

    Yep same thing happened to me earlier today. Have not been able to get the character back in.

    I am having this problem as well. At first my other characters would return "This character could not be saved." But the character this originally happened with, I was trying to log off and back on again due to a glitch in a waterworks quest in which it would not let me finish and return to the steam tunnels, neither clicking the door nor clicking the finish button worked, both kept returning me back into the mission. Then after logging off, when I tried to enter, I got the "This character is still being saved." I am submitting a ticket, and came across this suggestion for a similar error message:

    "In some instances, this error can be due to your game client having only just logged off the character in question and the server has not received the "I have logged off" message quite yet.

    Try waiting 5 to 10 minutes and retrying. If you continue to receive the message, try the following to reset your connection to the internet to ensure the game client is not receiving a "cached" copy of the message:
    1.Start by "power cycling" your router and/or modem (i.e. unplug them, wait 30 seconds, plug them back in)
    2.Reboot the computer while those reset
    3.After rebooting, click on "Start" and choose "All Programs" > "Accessories"
    4.Vista/Win7 Users: Right-click on "Command Prompt" and choose "Run as administrator"
    Windows XP Users: Left click on "Command Prompt"
    5.Type this command into the command prompt window:
    "ipconfig /flushdns" (no quotes) and hit enter
    6.Once you receive the "successfully flushed resolver cache" message and the network devices are all back up, relaunch the game to test"

    I haven't tried it yet, will update as to whether it helped or not.

    What server are you on? I was on Khyber. Just curious.

    My main character is still being saved, he has been for over 24 hours now.

    No DDO this weekend.
