    Default LFM Quest Search

Can we please have a search bar for finding quests in the LFM list? It is so tedious to have to scroll through all of the quests when leveling up. It would be so much easier for example: to at level 5 type in [Kobold Assault], hit update, and go. Rather than stopping completely scrolling up and down the level 3 quests and then updating and proceeding.

Is there not one in there? Maybe I am thinking of the adventure compendium quest list.

/signed if it is not there already. I guess you would not have made this post if it was already there though.

    Default Good idea?

Who else wants this? I know it would be very convenient for any TR out there.

This is not the first time this has been suggested. This is a feature that would save a lot of people a lot of time. Please implement.

This would be nice I agree.

Other possible suggestions would be for the Party leader to be able to start an LFM from the Quest Dialog so that looking up the quest isn't needed.

This however is sort of already implemented. With the public groups every time the leader steps into a quest it is auto advertised for a default level range and with no party leader commends. I would like this be a bit more advanced with the Search function in the regard that your party is NOT public and you can also submit your usual LFM comment, with the level range chosen by the leader.

YEah but a lot of leaders don't like this option as you lose any control of who joins your party for five minutes, the first five people to hit the lfm get accepted. I think more people shy away from using the public option for this reason than don't care.

Next to a "search" function, or find level. I would advocate to be able to choose from a dropdown, to show you, Heroic, Epic, Wilderness, Challenge(&events) and that they show appropriate ml to enter in the LFM pannel. (mainly for the hero/epic quests)

Public LFM is the worst IMO, it totally overwrites your personal settings to the LFM, like BB range. When players who are not the leader have this toggled you get a confirm msg?! This could happen in a critical situation! Not to mention that no one other than the Leader should be able to modify the LFM in the first place. This requires a Fix or two before I will think about toggling it on again.

The idea is great, but the implementation not so much. coming to think about it the entire LFM system could use an overhaul. Where the player could load some pre-sets, that could then also used for the public lfm also. Sort of like a "save" function for preferred level range and difficulty, this would also make setting up an lfm a bit faster as you would only have to find the quest, the range and diff are set to your preferred setting.

I don't like the public group option because it is not just when the party leader enters and instance, but sends up a notification when a party member steps into a different instance. This can cause problems with quest chains in explorer areas. Also, by rule I accept the first 5 to 11 to join my LFMs. I then adjust how the quest is done based on what we have.

My suggestion would allow the PL to open an LFM from the Quest entrance dialog and not when someone walks into an instance.

You only get a confirmation message if someone in your party enters the quest FIRST in a public fashion. So, it can't happen in a critical situation because you're out of the quest. Otherwise, if the quest is opened in a private fashion, then noone can change that setting. So, yes; only the leader can modify the LFM. If he gets a pop up window asking if he wants the LFM to activate and he clicks yes, he's modifying it.

This discussion has nothing to do with the idea though which is great and should be implemented.

    Default Peak of interest BUMP

So, I see that I have peaked the interest of the 2016 player council and 2014 player council, are these guys just the drama club for the dev's and GM's or are they actually going to give us some feed back as to if we can have this or why we can't have this?

I'd like it if you could just double-click on the quest name in the adventure compendium to create an LFM for that quest.

That area of the UI could use a lot of cleanup. Unfortunately UI changes seem to be pretty far down the Big Giant List o Stuff right now.

From what I gather, UI changes are not currently a priority for this year. But it may change, we'll have to see.

    And it's "piqued".
