My wife was nosey and first wanted to know who was sending me packages. Then who would send me a fuzzy bag... Then I had to explain why the dice were shaped that way. As you can tell she is not much of a gamer and doesn't go with me when I play.

That and she wanted to know why you didn't send me something every DDO birthday and I couldn't answer that one.

P.S. These are in much better condition than my 40 year old pair I started with.

WAIT!! I just realized... do you expect us to roll our own dice now in game? I will need a full set for that so I hope I have enough TP to get the rest. Are these interfaced to the game via Bluetooth or WiFi?

I know how you feel... I don't know exactly what the criteria was, but I know there was only 500ish sent out. I confirmed that my address was correct on https://myaccount.turbine.com/account_profile.php - so if I was sent one, I know I'll get it. I'm not getting my hopes up, and I won't be crushed if I don't get one. I am happy for those that do get one (my guild leader got one, and that's awesome). I know that if I am to get one, it should be here by the end of the week - just going to try to play it cool. I know if it doesn't show up, it wasn't meant to happen.

The inclusion of a percentile die greatly amuses me. (AFAIK those stopped being necessary in later editions)

THAT is blasphemy of the highest order! Percentiles are eternal!

As to why not the full set of polyhedrals: It lowered the cost, so we could make as many of them as possible.

You have the percentiles properly trained at 100, but you need to work on that D20!

It's not a percentile die. It's the d100 die.

You roll both the die with the 00,10,20...90 and the 0,1,...9 and add the results. 00 and 0 mean 100.

And it's still used in 5th edition.

actually it IS a percentile. Yes it is used to roll a number between 1 and 100 but it's not a d100. i have a d100 and its a pain in the arse to figure out what you rolled. For those of you who have never seen one it resembles a ball with itty bitty flat spots.. 100 of them to be precise...

After all the people who got their dice yesterday, I was bummed out thinking none for me. I was ecstatic to find mine waiting in the mail today. The dice are very cool, and the bag priceless. Kudos to the Turbine team for this. It was completely unexpected and an extremely nice touch. Thank you!

TBH i don't need the dice.. you likely couldn't tell them from any of the 100s of others i've collected over the years.. the bag on the other hand would be useful. Much more fitting than the crown royal bag i've used for years lol
