I think if you give it to the oracle he is going to show you "the thing"........not really.

House P......trade it in for something nice! One per toon. Anniversary event gift. Should be a vendor there to trade it in.

The 10th Anniversary Tokens can be traded to an NPC in House Phiarlan for one of a list of gifts.

There is also a vendor in the Hall of Heroes Eberron on the base level.
    Didn't check in Eveningstar.

There is no screenshot of the token on the Wiki yet and I am not able to login to the game: doesn't the token description tell you what to do with it? If not, it should just like the Collectibles say who wants them.

Is there somewhere I can see a list of those gifts so I can start planning for when I actually get home and can log on?

Yep, on the wiki. Keep in mind there are some items that are still being added according to Cordo.

We are recommending that people consider holding off on redeeming their tokens, since there are a handful of items that didn't make it into the update, and will be added within a day or so. That said, if you want one of the current items in the list, you can exchange your token with an NPC in House Phiarlan.

Is it just me or are there no flavor text on the freebie items?
Just a random, forgettable NPC doing things an NPC does
Things that NPCs do include, but are not limited to:

Having a gold goblet over my head to indicate availability of a quest
Having a catchphrase that never really catches on
Having various rewards that are generally not worth the trouble
    Wandering around randomly
Giving out obvious information if it wasn't obvious enough
Repeating the same lines over and over again
Repeating the same lines over and over again

If this includes the red dragon shard, so that I can finally match the helm which I have had for some time now.. I would do pretty much anything somebody asked of me. I have been trying to get that thing for YEARS.

Cordovan, maybe this little bit of advice should be added to the launcher... if you suddenly add items without notification you are going to have a lot of upset people!

I don't think just posting on a forum thread is good enough notification as not everyone reads the forums, but everyone (unless using a login script I guess) has to use the launcher!

NoooooooooooooIt's Sword of shadows, right? What - hypotatically speaking of course - you already turned in your token? Any chance to turn back in the original item for the more desired one?
