DDOStore Closing

Ever since last night whenever I open the DDO Store it keeps crashing the game. Anyone else experiencing this or is it just me? Never had this problem before last night.

Are you closing out your awesomium processes by any chance? Doing so used to cause the game to crash when you opened the store or anything that used the processes.

I'll try that next tonight when I login. It's never been an issue before last night/this morning but I guess it could be late affecting me.

Same thing happening to me. I didn't check it last night, and I haven't been on in a week, but it was working fine. Just happened in the last few minutes.

Awesomeium running, no antivirus so it must be something else.

Whenever I try to open the DDO in-game store my client crashes, as it seems is happeing to other people above. Doesn't matter which character I use (or even from character select screen). It also happens on other accounts. It started happening last night (about 20 hours ago).

The debug.log has an error line that looks like it is Awesomium related:

FATAL:x509_certificate_win.cc(1182)] Check failed: oid_info. : The operation completed successfully.

Out of curiousity the people who are having this problem what version of windows are you using? Maybe that can also narrow it down.

I'm having the same client crash, running on linux mint... pretty sure it's not windows/antivirus specific.

Naw, seems to coincide with something they did pertaining to all these events going on yesterday. I bought something yesterday morning and days before just fine.

That cannot be true or everyone would have this problem.

That's why the dev's and techs at turbine get paid the pennies. To fix it so we don't have this issue.
I remember an issue that we XP users had for years, that actually just got fixed on turbines end I think November 2015, where we couldn't access the Help tab in game.

I'm sure there is something similar to each of us having this issue, but it wasn't there before yesterday afternoon.

Same here. Either the game freezes (requiring me to kill the process) or it just dies on its own. The store window opens up (a border with a black interior), but it never actually populates for any character. I'd like to spend money, if the game client would let me.

Yeah me to. I went to store to do the double bonus points to stock up on some otto boxes and found the store crashing on me lol.
Hopefully it does get fixed for us before it ends. Otherwise just have to wait till next one.

I was hoping the update would fix this issue, but sadly it is still there.

Yeah update 30 didn't fix it for me either. So I thought I'd get creative. I ran a windows 7 virtualbox guest on my Linux host, dug into the host's Turbine directory launched the TurbineLauncher.exe and I was able to open the store (and buy Gnomes, Yay!) So I think that eliminates the installed files. About the only thing left is if there is something in the user/My Documents directory since those aren't shared between the vb/windows and Linux/wine runs.

Problem:

Opening the DDO Store either from Character Screen or in-game opens the DDO Store window.
The DDO Store window begins to populate, then the game exits/crashes.

Firewall / Anti-virus / Anti-malware / other programs are **DISABLED**

System is running Window XP, SP3 (32-bit), 3GB RAM.

The problem is **NOT** fixed with Update 30.

Not all the limited items in the DDO store are available cordovan. The Otto's boxes heroic and epic are not available.

I am seeing them in the Store. Unsure why you may not be?
