    agreed!

but it is my choice to run with said people again.

i would prefer to run with people where if all 12 people roll i have 1 chance in 12 of winning and so does everyone else. not i have 1 chance in 12 and another person, lets call him bob, has 11 chances in 12 of winning.

I didn´t decide with knowledge about that...

I´ve playing with this guild once before, maybe a ToD or else, and they direct pass one item to a guildie, thats ok because one of them get the loot and pass to a friend... thats the limit of the knowledge I have about them...

This time I join and see 6 of them so get a half a chance to get a item other to pull by myself, but when you see 7 other rolls dont beat your roll and u win with a 12.5% chances to get it, and some other roll and pass it is like that one have 25% chance to get it (suppousing other guildies dont roll but dont check on the names to be honest), so thats not fair

Also you know the LFG isnt working a time ago and even so didnt know the name of all the guild members so... my chance to get a good raid party limits to the ones I know they´re fair? Because I can´t always playing on the same hour with the same raid leaders... And if the solution will be make my own rides would be a problem... because I know most of the raids, but not all, and cant speak english properly to explain and leadership a sucessful raid everytime... Hope you understand my frustration about, I can´t improve my game time, my foreign language knowledge, my game schedules just to avoid jerks in game... thats not realistic... All I can do is avoid that guild even if not all the players are ********, and that is like much here mention it BAD KARMA

Agreed too, but still isnt my point...

I didn´t argue to others respect and act like my rules... I didnt even play by rules because dont know them, just play and act as I want just because its a game... im over it

But my point is about what is the sense and the will to play a game if you dont have the chance to win... is just a waste of time since I tell them, its not fair just because they have six times the chance to get some item over the other ones who only got one on twelve, but wathever looks like is a old theme and dont see simple as you say...

Any way I´m entitled to get against the Proxy rolling and will work with my guild to avoid that, maybe cant make all the server adopt that way to think but isnt my goal

    Hi,

Now that I understand this issue better (I didn't when I was a new player, and got myself into trouble for it once) I'm against proxy rolling. I also think it's sufficiently unconventional that a group leader should specify in the lfm or by telling people who join that they allow it. I suspect the reason they don't is because it will make it that much harder to fill the group.

I think I know which group this was, and if I'm right, I can tell you that the guild running it has somewhat of a reputation for this sort of thing. Quite a few people have mentioned to me that they avoid that guild's runs because they don't like supporting their approach to allocating raid loot. It wouldn't be a problem if the guild had enough people to do their own runs, but they apparently don't and rely on the efforts of puggers for completion.

Anyway, now you know and you can make an informed decision about running with these people again. You might want to discuss this issue with the players who did this to you to get their side of the story, and then if you don't like their response, let the people you know in game about it so they can avoid the same problem themselves by not joining those groups.

    Thanks.

That doesn't mean proxy rolling is a norm that the community should stand for.

'Your loot is your loot' never meant 'proxy rolling is okay'.

It meant, if you pulled something:
you don't have to put it up for roll,
you can pass it to a friend or guildie with no explanation,
you can auction it off to the highest bidder,
you can take it even if you might never use it,
    you can vendor it, or,
let it rot because you hate everyone in the party.

It was about stuff you pulled, not stuff passed to you.

The alternative meaning of it as: 'proxy rolling is and always was cool' is stupidity or willful misinterpretation; quoter's pick.

TL;DR - that sucks OP; try and get into not getting your hopes up unless you actually pull the item yourself.
    This is accurate.

As is this. Proxy rolling has gotten entire guilds black listed in the past. Not sure why it's suddenly ok.

OP, you lost the roll and are *****ing about what the person that won did with their loot, give it up and go outside or something.
