    Default Client instantly minimizes when selected, probably related to display setting

    I'm running Windows 10 on a Dell XPS L521X. I did a fresh install of DDO. When I start the client and select my server, the client immediately minimizes. If I click on the app on the task bar, I see what is displayed for a brief moment and then it minimizes again. I'm guessing that it is trying to change the display resolution as my other applications are resized after DDO minimizes. My display is at 1920 x 1080.

    Is there any way to change the display resolution of the client outside the program? By say changing a value in some file?

    In Documents/Dungeon and Dragons Online/UserPreferences.ini look for the line in the [Display] section called Resolution and try that. There is also WindowedResolution to look at too.

    Here are the relevant lines:
    Code:
    [Display]
    Resolution=1366x768
    WindowedResolution=1360x768
    ScreenMode=Windowed

    Thanks so much! I changed my resolution there and now DDO runs without a problem.
