Having a major problem getting my crafter on the beta server....

I originally copied over my character, Zaemil, from Ghallanda, to Lammania without a problem instantaneously; however, upon getting there, I found that my crafting storage did not come with me.

What exactly is a crafter going to do without any of his essences if he's supposed to test something? Serioiusly....

So, I delete the character, go back to the live server, fill up my ingredient bags with all of my essences from my crafting storage, and then return to the Lammania server client to copy over my toon.

It refuses to copy over my **** toon, now. It will let me copy over any of my other toons, but too bad none of those are my crafter with all of my essences. I put in a ticket, but, without even looking at it, it was brushed aside and I was directed to come here to complain. I have absolutely no idea how complaining about my character copy glitch is going to get it fixed here; is anyone really going to help me?

Because from where I'm sitting, after trying to copy over my character, again ,another 10 times, all failing, it looks like I won't be able to test out crafting. And, I'm not very happy about this considering this was all caused by crafting storage not following my toon in the first place...

It's not a glitch--they generally don't allow more than 1 copy per toon for Lamma.

It's too bad you deleted your toon on Lamma--the devs were handing out all kinds of crafting ingredients and they set up the Lamma DDO store to have some easily-accessible ingredients as well.

If you really just want to look at what's available you should be able to take just about any toon and level them up using the ingredients available on Lamma. I didn't get around to checking the Dojo but they probably have some kind of crafting ingredient thing in there somewhere.

So, PSA for everyone:

1. When you copy a character to Lammania, it only copies stuff they have ON them. Shared bank does not get transferred. So make sure that EVERYTHING you want is ON your character before you copy.

2. If you DO forget something, it's usually available on Lammania somewhere.

I'm really sorry, dude, I hope you can copy another toon and get a look at the new crafting, I think it looks amazing.

Best way to do it is to move ingredients to a mule then copy that mule over who can put them in the shared bank storage.

It's unfortunate you had to find out the hard way - sorry that happened to you.

That's well known that shared bank and storage are not copied over.

The best way to handle it is to load over several other characters with all the stuff and copy them too. that's what I did it took me 4 characters to move all the crafting stuff.

I have a slightly different problem, but similar.

I have a crafter that is a drow. Since I didn't purchase drow character class (I earned it on my server), it appears that I am not allowed to load that toon.

How do I work around that? (I don't have any TP on Lamannia, and am not sure how to get any there).

Get a nornal character copied, go to The Dojo, talk to Sir Poincelot he will give you TPs.

Sorry for not re-iterating this for folks experiencing the Lamannia Character Copy for the first time in a while. Your Shared Account Bank and Crafting Storage don't carry over with your character, so yeah, you'll want to get your crafting materials in your inventory first.

I didn't know about the dojo. I have now Googled it. But, I have never seen the door, and been through the marketplace a lot. Maybe I will get lucky next time. (server is down now).
