Humans are able to take the mark of scribing, however in the enhancement tree, it gives you the upgrades for the mark of finding starting with the second tier.

Since according to the wiki, there is no Dragonmark of Scribing on Live, it's probably a WIP Lamannia thing. Glad to see gnomes get a dragonmark though.
