Still no joy as of 15:44 CST 2/11/16
Still having issues with Ghallanda, just tried again. I was able to jump right into Thelanis but not Ghallanda.

I changed DNS to Google 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. Flushed everything,rebooting router. Still not working. I tried using 3 different computers. They are all getting similar issues. Originally Posted by kmoustakas

Loading screen lockup
Was going to reincarnation grove locked up in loading screen. Could log on but when I get to loading screen it locks me up even on different toon.

So far so good as of 16:05 CST 2/11/16
Was able to get onto Ghallanda and was able to logoff to character select then load in a second character just fine. So, so far so good. Thanks.

It looks like there is some kind of peering issue happening with some carriers in the East Coast which is causing this problem for users of these carriers. We received notice from one of our providers that they are working to mitigate it.

Ping patch.ddo.com ..... brought up IP 198.252.160.31 ... So... did they move the patch server to a different IP?
Opened up the hosts file and put the '#' in front of the '74.201.102.11 patch.ddo.com' to disable the fixed IP redirect and was able to log in after.Last edited by JOTMON; 02-12-2016 at 08:10 AM.

I have similar problem - when my client is trying connect to patch server, it finished on time out and connection failed. I rebooted laptop as well desktop, restarted rooter, asked my provider check what's wrong. Problem persist after all actions I took.
