    Default Fastest Druid to 20?

I want to burn out my 3 druid past lives next on my cleric, who is now level 26 and cruising along (first life), so she will have 1 cleric past life and one epic .

I have now, 2 of the heroic hearts of wood farmed, and I will farm my 3rd over the course of the next week.

I don't mind casting, I guess I can try and farm a Torc on my now Fighter Cleric, but my loot luck is...not good, still that Demon Queen quest is decent XP, so if I have to run it 19 more times I guess I can.

Any must grab items for heroic leveling a druid before I go? I have a ton of Staves for all leveling, because I like the look of Staff builds, so I farmed, well, basically every named combat staff up to level 20 but haven't gone out of my way for caster ones.

    Thanks guys.

Also, which epic past life feat should I grab with my cleric? I have finished Exalted Angel and Unyielding Sentinel and haven't chosen my next one yet, but am think of bridging over to Grandmaster of Flowers for kicks to finish off my leveling.

I have no idea how Epic TR works, but I should have enough commendations soon enough.

Basically, you fill an ED sphere with 6M Karma (based on which EPL feat you want); then when you're at level cap, you farm enough Heart Seeds to buy an Epic Heart of Wood and use it to ER, which takes you back to level 20 and grants you an EPL feat. If you're playing an Iconic race, you have to level back to cap before you can Iconic TR or ER again; other races, you can choose to either heroic TR right away or re-level to cap for another ER.

Oh, I am at 2100ish commendations, I thought I needed 4200 of those.

When you say, fill a sphere, does that mean bridging over to GMF is the wrong thing to do, I should do the 3rd divine destiny instead? I was just thinking of the future to unlock spheres for future builds I want to epic TR.

My plan was to Epic TR, then Heroic TR to Druid, so I just need a terrific solo druid leveling build to heroic 20 (so 18 really).

To ETR you need 6 mil karma, you can do that with out maxing all three ED (but are better of maxing them out in the long run) in a sphere given that cap is at 8.25 mil that leaves 2.25 mil exp you can put into GMF.

GMF is in another sphere from the two I've maxed though (both Divine). Are you saying I can't max GMF (martial) because I have I have two maxed in Divine?

No I'm saying that when you ETR you need 6 mil exp (called karma) in the Divine sphere.

Since it takes 8.25 mil to cap a toon you need to put 6 mil of the exp into the divine sphere or you will not be able to ETR with a Divine PL.

You can put 2.25 mil into GMF and the martial sphere (actually you have .25 extra since it only takes 2mil to max a destiny so you can get 250 K exp in to LD or SD if you want).

Terrific thank you so much, could have made a big 2 million exp mistake. I will just finish out the Divine sphere so I don't have to wobble, and just unlock GMF.

But nobody has any comments on leveling a druid?

    Hi,

I did my druid life quite a while back. It was as a caster and I hated it. There was a big patch in the mid levels where the spells didn't seem that good and I never seemed to have enough SP.

To be fair, the class was fairly new then, and although I had played casters before I didn't do a great job of building or playing it. I didn't really get it, and there was a lot less information around then to help than there is now about how to do it well.

If I had to do it again I would definitely do a melee build. I'm not closely familiar with them so can't recommend one more than any of the others, but I've seen a few posted on the forums. You can be more or less principled about how you make a melee druid, but I understand that even the ones not taking advantage of certain features can be quite good.

    Thanks.

Pure caster druid is fine and the builds are all about what you would expect: i.e., max WIS, load up on metamagics and Season's Herald PrE, slot your Spellpower gear, blast away. Druids don't get the burst DPS spells that, say, a Fire Savant does; they focus more on DoTs like Creeping Cold, Ice Storm, Wall of Fire, etc.

Melee druids are also fine, though here it gets more complicated depending on whether you want to be a shapeshifter or use regular melee weapons. If you want to make use of those staves you've accumulated, some sort of rogue / druid MC is the obvious choice; also gets you trap skills & Evasion. Either STR- or DEX-based would work too, thanks to DEX to dmg from Acrobat cores. WIS staff builds are trickier, since AFAIK there are only two named staves which get WIS to dmg (Inner Sight, SotS). The latter is preferable due to higher base dmg and larger crit profile, so if you don't mind farming Ghola-Fan (or can find it on AH), good luck.

I have a Staff of the Seer so I guess I will try some Rogue/Druid build? Monk wouldn't be better?

Acrobat is better than Henshin: +15% atk speed & Quick Strike has shorter cooldown. But monk gets you extra feats, ofc. It's debatable whether light armor or centered w/robes is better right now. You could do rog / monk / druid hybrid, though that's more backloaded.

There was a similar thought a few updates ago about a Rogue/Arti/X build to get past lives, I guess it must still work, I farmed a lot of rune arms and repeaters thinking about it, but I forgot. The X doesn't matter there, and you kind of stroll along the last couple of levels to 20, pew pewing your way to past lives. I will definitely try that if the first staff life feels pretty weak. Thanks for reminding me of that build, I may use it on a few lives. You just go Warforged then right?

Thanks a lot, you are a superstar forum poster and I appreciate all your posts. I will work with the character creator. The thing is, I have a lot of nice robes, basically all of them (non raid), up to level 23, because I was running a fairly horrible clonk build.

The thing about adding monk is terrific saves and let's be honest, in heroic, does light armor matter, heavy armor does, it makes you largely immune to physical damage, but will light armor make as much of a difference if I mistime a trap leap as evasion does?

I did a druid/cleric/fvs mashup that worked quite well after level 14, (especially well in epics) but before that it's rather bland,

    It used high fire spellpower
    Lillentle, the smaller Lentle
