Suggestions for new Risia recipes

I know, right? This thread’s ideas are very much community-generated. I would add a filigree set for cold damage: The Wreath of Cold! Add DC stuff to it too, warchanter boosts etc.

What's old is new. Blending something like this into the loot table makes perfect sense, and there are lots of good options to explore. Risia could use a good anchor challenge or mini-quest to attract more traditional players, with unique monsters that also count towards the MM (like an ice-slush ooze, for example).

+Scaled Glaciation, +Scaled Insight Glaciation, +Quality Glaciation, Spell Storing (10% SP Discount), Minor Freezing Ice.

+Scaled DR / Adamantine, + Scaled Cold Resist, Blue Augment Slot, Green Augment Slot.

Warwreath - ML 24 Necklace

+Scaled Thornguard, +Scaled Resistance Bonuses, Imbue Weapons : Pierce (+1d6), Colorless Augment Slot.

Well as far as I know they weren't added to Risia recipes but it looks like the new Festivult Cosmetics available from Gold Daily Dice and the cosmetic vendor look like their own spin on the earlier suggestions. Pretty nice actually.

well, there have been no signs of new recipes.Will folks run it anyway? I think those sporting lowbie vorpal weapons might anyway, although in reaper content often the little extra elemental damage is reduced to the damage equivalent of the fragrance of overripe bananas.

Yeah, if there are zero changes this year, I think you'll see an initial rush as people get caught up with weapons they've acquired over the last year, and then it will taper off. Hopefully they have added some new gear/recipes into the mix, like a sentient gem, and people will be inclined to participate longer.

The new Festivult Robe is on my short list of things to try out on Lamania. If it looks good on my Avatar I will purchase it at some point for someone.

Even if nothing new appears, I am hoping to acquire about a dozen Trinkets from Risia and at least one Polar Bear from Midwinter. Once I realized I would never get anywhere in this game with my Avatar, I went ahead and leveled my other characters so that I can goof around with them in Epic levels. They would all benefit from some crafted Trinkets. If possible, I will add Festival Cold Resistance to any Cosmetic Armors without that property.

That is a lot of work to get so many trinkets. Don't forget to farm Zawabi's lava area with a strong range toon that can sit there.

I have not a single character who uses a ranged weapon! However, I do have 3 Epic level thieves on different accounts and in a few more days, all 3 will have Exalted Angel fully unlocked.

hmmn ok! Here is the link to the thread on Zawabi's. I suppose someone could do an iconic of some interesting build too--maybe an arti/EK/rogue frost imbue multi just to easily drop them.

Last year, after reading a thread about Disposible Iconic Purple Coin Jumpers, I discovered that my Avatar, when using Exalted Angel for Wings, could easily jump for the Purple Coin in the Harbor. That coin has a rather lengthy respawn timer. However, with two jumpers on different accounts it becomes possible to collect Purple Coins fairly rapidly. With three jumpers, there will be no down time. That is my bubblehead plan, at least.

I have not tried collecting Blue Coins from Zawabi's Revenge. However, I am certain a switch into Vistani and Shiradi Champion while using a Spectral Throwing Dagger would make my Avatar into a decent Thrower. Maybe I should try that for giggles.
