Consider moving these log alerts:

You benefit from your X
You benefit from X's X
Your X has been removed from you
X's X has been removed from you

To the "effects" category so they can be easily turned off or shown in a different log.

The reason why I suggest this is that 99% of the time when I go to the combat log to look for something, there's 4 paragraphs worth of this **** to sort through before I can find things that actually matter. But I can't seem to find an option to turn off the display without also turning off the stuff I want to see.

It's a good idea.... many times I'll say "*** killed me?" when I get one-shotted out of nowhere. But I don't bother to try to look through the combat log to find out because it will take forever to find in all that debuff info.

It takes longer to find what killed you then the entire fight takes.

You're supposed to figure this information out via trial-and-error, not have it handed to you on a silver platter.

I THINK that I figured out that if you turn off "combat feedback for effects" it turns this off, or at least enough of it. Not sure.
