One final reincarnation heart type.

I, like some others, enjoy experimenting with builds. Sometimes I do this on a main character with multiple past lives without enough forethought and wind up with a build that survives to about 12ish and then starts to flag off, HARD. Rather than just muster through and run upper end heroic quests at a lower difficulty until 20 and a TR I wind up making a new character with the latest greatest idea I have and lose all the progress I have on the other one for months on end until I finally get the ambition to finish it.

What I propose would be one more type of reincarnation heart, you could call it something along the lines of a tainted druidic heart of wood. It will allow you to completely reroll the current life (race, class, sex, everything) and retain all of your previous past life feats, but not gain a new one for the current life. You would start over from 1 (or 15 if you choose to go iconic) just like with a real TR. Yes, I know we have +20 hearts now, but sometimes you just want to swap everything around including the race, which a +20 heart will not let you do. This heart would be usable from any level.

I also propose that you make this cost tokens of the 12 just like a true reincarnation heart, but at perhaps half cost.

I have spoken with a few other people and aside from myself they would also be interested in something like this, as we all have characters that have been left abandoned because their build simply became un-fun as quests progressed into higher levels with third life+ experience requirements.

I wouldn't mind this.
A TR stone that does not give recognition for the past life since you didn't cap, but lets you start over and still puts your stuff into a TR cache.

I have run into this myself many times, levelling a build life that just didn't work the way I wanted and had to pike it to cap to TR, or buy multiple LR stones..
or building an alt that got sidetracked and forgetting what it was you were trying to do...
Don't want to give up any past lives already invested by deleting and starting over.

I like the idea

I vote for "Hollow True Heart of Wood" or "Empty True Heart of Wood".

It grants you:
- a restart on your current life,
- you will lose all current progress, and everything gets reset like any TR,
- you will get to start at 1 (or15 if iconic),
- you will gain no benefits. But also don't loose previous PLs
- usable at any level by any race/iconic

Bet they'd sell a ton more +1 lesser hearts this way too, since Iconics wouldn't have the stupid exit tax of releveling to 30 and Iconic Reincarnating for past life feats you already have.

Idk why, unless the lesser is <20.

It would also be nice to see Lesser hearts purchasable somehow, maybe tokens of the 12 or CoVs/Heart Seeds.

I like the idea... But, is there a way to include Iconics in the mechanics? Go back to 15? But, then I didn't change race... Go back to 1, that means no Iconics... How would this handle them? And don't say ignore them, because that would further push people away from them as potential build material.

You will start a new "Life" like after any True Reincarnation, only will it not gain you benefits for your current (half)life. So it should not matter what you are currently or even at what level.

I like it. There's one thing, tho: To help prevent abuse by people using Iconics for epic past lives, this would have to have a 3-day timer before it could be used after a lesser/greater/epic reincarnation.

Not really needed in my opinion, but if they added it I wouldn't care. The only real gain over what is currently available is that it would allow changing your Race.

What I would rather see is a True Epic Heart of Wood to allow TRing a capped character all the way to lvl 1 (or 15) in one move.

1. You would go directly from level 30 to level 1 (or 15 if you created an Iconic)
2. It would be usable only by a lvl 30 character (obviously)
3. It would cost a True Heroic Heart of Wood and a Epic Heart of Wood (The exact same cost as doing an Epic and then a heroic reincarnation - you just basically combine the two)
4. It would grant you a Heroic Past Life Feat and a Epic Past life feat (Again, the exact same gain as doing both. This is similar to the way Iconic reincarnation grants an Iconic PL feat and a Heroic PL feat so I don't see why its not doable technically speaking)
5. It would grant all other benefits and have all the limitations of Heroic and Epic Reincarnation.

Its a bit of a pain to have to level up to 20 when you Epic reincarnate if you intend to heroic reincarnate immediately thereafter.

I would guess, if they did this new heart, it would reset your original Reincarnate switch just like you never did it. then you can click it and start the process over again.
