Care to share some details? I had a pug on LE yesterday and the dogs werent even doing that much dmg after the nerf to mobs dmg output in LE raids. I had every possible buff going on with the dogs + bard songs.

once she becomes vulnerable I think its best to just throw caution to the wind.

I wouldn't worry about rebuffing everyone or making sure cc is set up around the outside loop.

Yeah but this has nothing to do with being able to kill Xyzzy in one round of puppies. Puppies were nowhere doing that much damage on LE after the patch. The beatdown in the last 20% takes like 10s. I'm questioning puppies' dmg.

Mind share some details? I did try few LE run but wiped because puppy didn't do enough damage to xyzzy. So beholder start pop in and screw the run. We did use eidolon/ 3 druid pl bard song and such but didn't work that well.

Crusade: While standing on consecrated ground, you and your allies gain a 10% enhancement bonus to the damage of all your attacks. This is a 4 second buff that activates every 4 seconds when standing on consecrated ground.

Is this stuff useful?

Nice run! Another issue that prevents good completion times is broken puppy targetting/hitboxes. Their attack animation will be skewed on the boss, making them attack air and resulting in no damage. Were you able to eliminate that from happening? From your completion time it's clear that only four control stones were needed so the puppy dps must have been very high and every one of them hitting their target. Impressive work.

Clearly you didn't have every buff going because when a party does have them all running this is the time you get.

We had an intim tank that was pretty much constantly making small adjustments for that reason. As soon as a dog swings at air we repositioned her to fix it.

Yep... if it buffs summons or allies' damage it is worth bringing to the table.

Thats the stuff Im talking about. Im thinking also stuff like LGS T3 weapon bonus, like Legendary Salt, effecting xyzzy even tho she is immune to dmg itself? Im pretty sure we were missing only 2/3 max buffs on puppies (like the above mentioned Warlock stuff, which I dont have since Im a sorcerer) in my run and it took us 2 whole stone rounds and barely made it. Big beholders appeared when Xyzzy dropped to 20%.

Im not the only one that noticed puppies dmg is godawful in LE TS. Vanhooger's reply made me more confident that Im missing something. Its a nice time nonetheless, I just would like to know the details.

I barely tested anything so far as for U29, just came back from a bit of a break from DDO

At least this was my impression.

With 3 round of charm(2 with 3 puppy going and 1 with 2 puppy) we couldn't take her below 30%. Didn't had time to watch puppy if they were swinging at air tho to be honest.

The secret is in the hotkeys. Things are a lot easier when you stop worrying about dumb puppy ai.

As you said before it only takes a few seconds to kill her once she is vulnerable so that means the only actual effort and place that you can shave off time are a few seconds retrieving the stones a few seconds at the end and all of the testing with buffing you do on the puppies for the middle bit. The puppy buffs are the only part of the raid that really mean anything significant as far as time goes for a speed run. Spend 20 minutes on ddowiki reading and then 10 minutes brainstorming with your party and testing in epic norm and you'll have it all figured out too.

Asking for a buff breakdown to avoid the only thing you actually need to do for a speed run is just kind of lazy.

I will say that we didn't even think of testing lgs ... that could be potentially interesting although salt wouldn't have any purpose since it just slows mobs down.

Just tried it. The debuff shows up, the only reason for it to have no effect would be if the dogs don't actually deal physical damage.
25% more damage is quite a bit.
