Can I wear heavy dragon scale armor as a druid/fighter?
You can wear heavy armor even if you are not fighter, but with some consequences:
- if you don't have proficiency, you will have attack penalty
- if heavy (or any other armor) is not made of natural material you will break Druid's Oath and you will not be able to cast spells.
If you have some fighter lvls, you have heavy armor proficiency.
Dragonscale armor is consider the best armor type druids can have (back to PnP and now, in DDO).
Hope this helps.

The fighter level will also let you use tower shields proficiently - there aren't many non-metal ones, but there are a few - Stone Wall (from Terminal Deleium, also it's epic variant) & Madstone Shield from Reaver's Rate & Madstone Aegis from Fall of Truth.
I made a sword & board heavy armoured druid 17/fighter 3 myself, it was fun & capable, though admittedly didn't really invest much in the actual druidic enhancement lines
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was, now what's it is weird and scary to me.
