Whoever did that, should be banned. That cost everyone platinum to repair their broken items due to an unexpected public death. I feel I should be reimbursed some how. Nobody killed you challenges dont allow you to be killed in public areas. sometimes you might take random falling damage due to a bug.

LGS Triple Negative sticks are/were (unsure if the patch fixed it) giving negative levels when you cast a buff on someone. If someone were to use this for evil in the harbour / Korthos...

Look at these two shifty characters and their all-too-plausible explanations ...

The first one claims that what happened to you was impossible, when in fact you know very well that it did. That's a tad suspicious.

The second one seems to know entirely too much. Perhaps his friendly manner and helpful explanation is all just a front to conceal his monstrous intentions.

Is one of them the vicious madman who is stalking lowbies in the harbour and doing these evil deeds? Could they be in league together?

Or perhaps the harbour predator is still out there, chortling madly and lurking in the bushes, as he plots his next murder. Will it be you, or you, or YOU?

PS: Before anyone's nose gets out of joint, I've run with both of these guys and they are nice people who don't pick on new players. I myself don't own any LGS items capable of these terrible deeds either.

I honestly doubt a player killed this person's toon. They probably assumed it was another player because of the way other games work, where something like that is not only possible but standard behavior. Most likely it was just a bug, given how difficult it is to kill someone in a public area. Hopefully the player will come back.

Sure, but I still think it far more likely that the person assumed that's what happened because it happens so much in other games. Maybe I'm just optimistic.
