    Default Victory Lap Build

Enhancement pass and wraps pass, everything else has stayed the same, but not using Oremi's but Strange Tidings since ToD rings don't work with wraps anymore with no planned fix in sight as stated by the devs. 02/09/17.

Will most likely use my tier 1 holy tier 2 and 3 healing amp affirmation LGS wraps for Reaper.

Swapping out to Epic Scraps or Vac II if needed.

But it is looking like for single target Epic Scraps will outperform including DR breaking. If ToD rings worked with wraps and was not broken atm, Vac II may inch by in some instances for DR breaking. But as I see it Epic Scraps are king for unarmed atm simply by base damage alone. I know I don't have any slavers gear and I am waiting for next xpac to gear up accordingly. But any suggestions for theorycrafting with slavers gear and cutting edge gear and cannith crafting is welcome.

And all discussion is always welcome.

28 Point Human Build *Requires +2 Dex tome which can be obtained free with favor*

I like to think of my monks more of a balance than of anything.

I am still on the fence on WWA. I would invest heavy into human heal amp feat. Or if your sold on WWA adjust for that but I think you will end up losing vorpal strikes which I believe is a must have for unarmed.

If you have any questions feel free to hit me up PM or on my Victory Lap build about building unarmed monks. It would be nice to talk about something about lag on DDO. And I am contemplating doing a LR to try out WWA. Let me know what you think below.

I keep my suggestions light as possible, people find what they want in their own monks..

    Good gear Setup.
Only Thing which came to my mind for rings is getting some higher seeker and you´re lacking on "Accuracy" if you consider it important.

Swap Stalker ring with Seal Avithoul, ideally with +2 insightful wisdom

use the Cannith necklace as a start-of-quest swap for action boosts and enhanced ki

why half-orc? Seems human would be better

What about 12 monk/8 fighter dwarf?
    Dwarven tactics and hp/con boosts
Fighter for defensive stance, kensei tactics and tactics feats as well as feats to get whirlwind attack. Fighter splash is nice even sans dwarf.

Mostly vanity tbh. I was a human for the past 2 lives, the only thing I miss is the heal amp. Cocoon and Positive LGS I find keeps me up just fine. H-Orc gives me a boost in a stat at char gen on a 36 point goes a long way imo. I like the option of wielding a stick sometimes and the enhancements can help with that a bit. Also I have never been a fan of action boosts on a unarmed monk. I have too many buttons to press now as it is! And I hate the way it breaks the flow of combat. On the necklace, its a nonstarter for me since the plan is to get KI in goggle slot and warriors pendant in neck slot to boost SF. I have to admit that Seal Avithoul looks nice, but I have 2 major gems slotted into my current ring; and Manslayer and the SA is not much, but every little bit helps imho.
On my loadouts I like to gem equipment that wont break the flow of combat if I need to switch to a GS displace click and back again to main gear loadout. Seeing that the Seal has no gem slots, I am leaning towards keeping Stalker ring on for now. And I use unbalancing strike pretty much every time it comes off of CD, in lieu of having a deception item.

Sounds fun, but I only play pure characters, just my personal choice.

Yea def lacking on seeker but since crit has never been a strong suit of monks anyway I decided not to worry about it as much. I find that with Precision I have not had any problems with my attack rolls. But once I get a neck slot open I am considering putting more seeker, or healing amp over the warriors pendant, still up in the air on that one.

Nice Taimasan. Now I am debating whether I should go pure monk again, lol. Real nice equipment too. Looks like I will have to build up my courage and join a raid sometime. Not sure how you got dodge up to 34%. And thanks for taking the time to share your build.

    Thank you and your welcome!

Dodge sits at 32% with 34% max, I get it to 34% using Reed in The Wind attack

Past Life: Disciple of the Fist is not as great as it once was. It just adds 0.5 W to unarmed, or about 1.75 damage per hit. I don't have a concrete suggestion for what to take instead without making more drastic changes (E.g. trying to get Whirlwind).

I play mostly melee multiclassed monks. I'd love to see your gear layout at level 20.

Your right, but I feel with .5(1.75) from PL that 1.0(2.5) from Improved Martial Arts(4.25 total). Coupled with the fact that unarmed combat is about %10 faster than regular TWF. I feel this is a workaround to having power attack without having the hit penalty.

I will try and post a level 20 loadout.

Cool thread. I have an old gimpy level 25 Horc pure monk (first life) I haven't played in a very long time and have been trying to figure out what to TR him into because I assumed he was not salvageable, but before I do that I might LR and try something like this. As I'm first life I'd probably have to drop Wisdom down to 16, but on the other hand I'm fine with sticking to EH/LH for the most part so I should be able to make do.

At the very least it may reinvigorate my interest in the character and let me get him to 30 and collect some more TR mats.

    Awesome build, congrats!

I don't have half-orc yet and I'm not buying it any soon, so... how would you build this as a human?

How high is your Stun/Palm DC? Does it land in 28+ content?

Thanks for your time and gratz for the build again

    Stunning Fist DC : 77

    Quivering Palm DC : 54/59

    Lands consistently on 28+ content.

You would build the same way as a human and would have a extra feat character creation numbers would be a bit different but that is it. I would invest in the healing amp line as human as well.

It definitely looks possible on a first lifer with some slight stat modification (wisdom will be 16), but you're gonna need a +2 dex tome for the TWF line.

I would dump 3 points from ninja spy(dex and faster sneaking) and 1 point from wisdom for +4 int starting and know the angles. Once you get your litany that will even out dex int and wisdom and if you pick up an 8 int and 2 insight int augment.and 2 spooky you will have an int of 34 (+12 mod) and with kta you'll pick up +6 to damage and +6 to tactics dc's.
