Solo LN Hound of Xoriat

Took a few tries but I finally managed to solo LN HoX on my ex-barbarian Warlock

I used to think that...until I joined a pug last night. We did a couple of laps around the circle...I was settled in for what I thought would be a fairly boring NASCAR race of nothing but left turns...when out of nowhere I hear "Xzyzzy is weakend....now is the time to strike" (Or what ever the DM says) I turn into the center and target her just in time to see her die.

Was the fastest HOX I have ever been in. Either we had some really good players or there is still some exploit that hasn't been fixed. I am sure we were in the quest for less than 5 mins....that includes buffing,looting and rolling for loot. I know this because I had a hireling in my back pack with 5 minutes left on his timer and he was still there when I exited the quest.

.....and yes...this was Legendary (LH I think).

Done a few like that which is what made me think I could get it done solo. The secret to those runs is that (a) everyone knows their role (b) very high dps to get the stones in a minute (c) charmed dogs with good buffs (d) intim tank to ensure that the dogs stay on Xyzzy's back. Did the same for the solo run except for the fact that it took about 3 minutes to get the stones so definitely had to worry about beholders.
