Default How much spell power can I realistically get?

Been doing build calculations, so I've been wondering. Seen pics of over 900, but is that possible on a non-spellcaster? AA ranger if it matters. Also, what could the "cap" be on a spellcaster? And if someone doesn't mind posting a breakdown... that would be awesome.

I guess it will be different from build to build, especially where multiclassing could allow you to gain benefit in same element from different tree.

But i would also see some breakdown example of various build (wizard, sorcerer, cleric,...) at level 20 (Heroic) and at level 30 (Epic) to see what is decent spellpower and what is optimal spellpower

Realistically mid 400's I think would be reasonable to shoot for. I want to say fire is going to be the highest you can shoot for because of divine crusader though I'm not to knowledgeable on the subject.

Going pure int based would grant the highest spellpower but the I have no idea how much your dps would suffer otherwise.

I'd be inclined to agree with Nightmanis about fire, as you've got the +30 from DC. You could also get another +30 from T3 Draconic Incarnation, but that high of a twist would probably gimp you in other areas. From Shiradi, you could get +10 from cores, +15 from T2 Fey Form, and +10 from T5 Stand and Deliver, but AFAIK this ED isn't great for archers anymore.

I'd be interested to see which of the AA abilities count as spells for the purposes of Angel of Vengeance's Scourge. That would give you up to another +30 with fire, and a 1-level FvS splash would also give you Divine Might, unless you prefer going KTA and boosting int for Spellcraft. The tree also has various crit bonuses and a T3 implement bonus, if you end up using bows without caster stats.

Taking Sorc 1 would give you +10 from Fire Savant Core 1 and another +25 from Conflagration (if AA abilities can count as fire spells). These two trees also scale USP with points invested - 1 per AoV point, 0.75 per Fire Savant point. The rest of the Fire Savant cores also give you +10, but at some point you'd want to drop those in favor of points in AA.

I don't pretend to know a lot about the current state of AA, but AFAIK you want at least Ranger 12 from the DWS crit multiplier. Taking 6 Monk for 10k Stars / stances might also be good, which leaves you two levels to splash with. Unless you're Int-stacking, FvS seems like a solid choice here, especially if Scourge applies. Ignoring spellcraft (which I'm too lazy to min-max right now)...

    DC T2: +30
    DI T3: +30
    FvS T1: +30
FvS AP invested: +4 (or +6 if you take Smiting)

For perspective, my build is a pure ranger AA/Deepwood. Build is (should be) posted below. Strategy is to have a good base damage, but have most of the damage from from Scion of Air and Lightning Arrows. Thinking ~400 spell power should be maintainable, especially with 150 from a thunderforged bow.

Also, can someone tell me if spell crit affects Lightning Arrows or Scion of Air damage in any way?

Ran a breakdown on my build, fairly satisfied with the results:

    Base:

    Gear:
    150 - random gear or a tier 1 Thunderforged.
77 - insightful from random gear
27 - quality from u29 named Sage light armor.
15 - from spellcraft on gear
    36 - implement bonus

    Feats/levels:
10 - spellcraft bonuses from epic levels
60 - spell power bonuses from epic levels
20 - Epic Spell Power: Electric
    40 - Scion of Air

    Enhancements:
    15 - Improved Elemental Arrows

    Skills:
11.5 - Spellcraft (not including Int)

    Epic Destinies:
    30 - Blue Dragon Heritige
    5 - Interrogation

    Total:
    496.5 electric spellpower

    Sustainable Buffs:

Arcane Warrior - 20 at max stacks
Potion of Greater Spark - 20

    Total:
    536.5

    Non-sustainable Buffs:
    Wellspring of Power - 150
    Enchant Weapon (spell) - 3
    GH - 4
    Inspire Competence - 2

    Total with all buffs:
    695.5

I'm very happy with 530 base spellpower and nearly 700 for boss fights. If anyone has ideas on how to get more, please post.

    Lightning Damage:
    7d6 - Lightning Arrows
    2d20 - Scion of Air

That's 45.5 average damage, which goes up to 241.15 damage with my base spell power, and 316.4525 using everything I have.

If I also take Stormrage, which I am thinking of doing, it adds 10d20 damage to one attack per second, which averages out to 105 dps. With spell power (assuming it scales), that is 556.5 sustainable dps and 730.275 all out dps. In addition to what I already have.

Edit: not sure if I did dps calculations right, the formula I used was dps = base * (spell power / 100). Not sure if this formula is correct, or if the corect formula is dps = base * (100 + spell power)/100.
