getting unknown error trying to update

I had to restore my computer to factory setting and am trying to reinstall the client.
When trying to download from ddo.com it kept saying server had to restart and I had to keep resuming download.
After getting it downloaded it installed ok,but now at update screen before the login screen I keep getting this messege.
an update error occurred:
unknown error:0xffffffff80043038

how do I get past this or how do I fix this?

Well after rebooting,restoring,trying everything posted on forums,it came down to the simplest of solutions.
My service provider had a firewall on my modem, and that firewall conflicted with mine,so they disabled the modem firewall,I didnt have to shut off my Norton,or disable anything,and the game downloaded and installed and loaded just like it should.
So take it from me,try the simple things first,if you experience a connectivity issue error,call your isp and see if the modem youre using has a firewall and ask them to disable it.
