    Hi all. I have been working on a monk build for about 3 years. This has been my primary toon during this time. I have gone from pure monk to various combinations, and currently have a human 3 paladin /5 warlock /12 monk . This has worked better than other combinations I have tried, but it still does not hit as well as I would like. From this discussion it appears there are drawbacks to a monk build. However, I like the toon and it would be great to see the numbers on your monk build. Thanks

    I will add to this thread that currently unarmed monks are the only build that does not have access to end game legendary quality gear and 14/7/2 stat boosts, unlike every other class in the game.

    is pretty awesome. Slotted it with http://ddowiki.com/page/Meteoric_Star_Ruby and http://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Ruby_Eye_of_Force


    Leveling up Shadowdancer atm(ugh) so im not at my best performance but even off spec its doing good AOE and good proc rates because of unarmed speed. The knockdown I particularly love.

    It's still not on par with Legendary Green Steel, which is the only ingame source of +2 Exceptional bonus to all stats. As well as being 1-2 enhancement higher, and having the highest base weapon damage in the game. It's hard to tell what the base bonus of Storm's Harness is, since that's a hidden effect of the actual handwraps.

    Hopefully we get some nice boost to wraps, since everything is based on W[1d6] or W[1d8] making handwraps be actual weapons, and simply having all the feats and enhancements modify them as they do with other weapons for other classes would really put things back into working order and we wouldn't have to run tests to find out base W[] damage for a handwrap.

    lol, no worries and no hurry. Any advice on monks is always appreciated. But I definitely agree playing the game is always the priority!
