At 29 & 30, the levelling doesn't take all that much since i like to run a while at cap anyway instead of immediate TRing & I've found that the changes to the XP curve at lower epics is more noticeable. The new feats are pretty nice - though i think I'm probably going to be taking Shadowfell on a number of my characters, since i like the extra incoming healing as i fight.

New loot system, while there's still a bunch of bugs to sort out, I like it overall & generally agree with Patrick. I think that's probably where new named loot will have to go - not necessarily granting the most powerful single stat, but far more effects overall & a place to find rare & unusual effects, non-standard damage & crit profiles, etc. For casters where far more specific focus is required I can certainly appreciate that the random loot is likely better for those single stats, DCs etc. but surely that's also to the benefit of newer players, meaning they can get more usable DCs & spell pen etc. even in 1st life? To bring named stuff back up to scratch for casters vs. the new lootgen it'll have to include more of the new quality bonuses to stats & DCs, or effects that procs on spellcast like extra debuffs instead of just the damage procs, maybe large reductions to aggro generation from spells, stuff like that.

Definitely agree with the point about stat augments, having them each as a single, scaling augment based on item ML would be really nice.

Agree with the portals being the most painful part of legendary shroud - halve the portal HP & increase the rate at which the mobs & the portal keeper appear it'd make it far more exciting. I love the new end fight - it was nice on my rogue being able to use my traps to assist with things

ToEE, yeah probably my single favourite quest for this year, good fun to play and the loot ranges from really good for the epic versions to phenomenal for the heroic ones - I've been using Sapphire Sting on my archer from level 7 all the way through heroic levels & since i don't have a Pinion, I suspect it'll keep me going right up until i can switch over to the epic version at level 26.

Warlocks, love them - OP in heroic but that's to be expected with how the content has aged, but more balanced in epics & I think they really got the class right with the way the enhancements & pacts tie together, and how the various options are genuinely hard to choose between, every combination has it's own "oh i want to have that!".

Ranger pass... not really tried tempest yet, but i *love* how it's made proper archers a thing again rather than having to go with the monkcher thing, and despite some of the controversy about the manyshot changes i much prefer the higher sustained dps vs. the low average/high burst option.

The completion runes, wonderful idea - rewards harder difficulties & lets you work multiple characters towards getting "that one thing" for a specific character. I really hope this gets retrofitted into some of the older raids too.

And gnomes or tieflings? If they could add the tails, Tieflings because Annah (and incidentally, not a classic module but the Planescape setting has been more or less abandoned, surely DDO could have a trip to Sigil? Pretty please?). Otherwise gnomes.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was, now what's it is weird and scary to me.

Yes, though graphs and statistics are sometimes used for Evil Humor. (Warning: Mature subjects from the makers of CardsAgainstHumanity card game)
