Reincarnation

I have a question regarding Reincarnation. I am currently at lvl 29 and when I reach lvl 30 I want to Reincarnate my toon. I have several Hearts of Wood. My question is this. It states in the info panel on the Heart of Wood that I will reincarnate from lvl 1 to my current lvl. Does that mean I will go from lvl-1 to 20 or lvl-1 to 30? I will appreciate any and all responses. Thanks.

You only need to be level 20 to gain a whole new life with a True Heart of Wood, but if you want get an epic reincarnation feat or are an iconic class (Purple Dragon Knight etc.) you will need to go to level 30.

just for completionist sake - you also have lesser reincarnation- which lets you rebuild your toon, new stats, new feats etc, but it doesnt give a past life benefit

If it says it will take you from 1 to your current level then its most likely a Lesser Heart of Wood.

A lesser heart lets you respec (respecification) your character. Essentially, you rebuild your character from level 1, redistributing points and feats, until you reach the point that you used the Heart.

For a full reincarnation, you need a True Heart of Wood.

The True Heart lets you start over from level 1, with more build points and a feat based on the class your character was when you reincarnated.
You then need to re-earn the xp to level, you'd be playing htrough the game from level 1 with a stronger character.
