So we ran LE shroud last night, took a couple hours to get through to the end, but was a good challenge...
Except for the Orthon in part 3.. he is a beast with little to no cooldown between attacks.. spams insta-kills with his repeater and cleaves... We showed him.. eventually... only cost me 23 of my 26 deaths ..
Then we loot the chests and discouver that not all chests are created equal...
Part 5
All difficulties - 2 for phase 5 (Left chest drops small and medium ingredients, right chest drops large ingredients and Codex Runes)
Hard- 1 Extra chest for completing hard Phase 5 (Drops large ingredients and Codex Runes)
Elite -1 more chest than Hard .. but it did not drop any large ingredients for anyone.
So..
Normal 1 chest Drops Larges
Hard another chest drops Larges
Elite .. *expletive removed* and go farm hard if you want large ingredients.
part 5 does not give more large ingredients than Hard.. what was the thinking behind this?
The extra work and resources it takes to complete elite and the reward givers fail to recognize the effort .
Why are ingredients from lesser phases dropping in the higher phases at all..
Each Phase should give appropriate ingredients for their Phases.
All I see happening here is the "one and done" syndrome
beyond running shroud once on Elite for favor and to see that we can... there is no motivation to repeat the efforts.. go rinse/repeat farm norm/hard
..Have the devs coded the chests incorrectly or have they lost sense of reward for challenge...
