Multiple Overlapping Bundles

I was looking at the current special on bundles.

I originally purchased both MotU and Shadowfell as their standard editions.
But right now I see the collectors editions on sale for a very pleasant price. I have two questions on this.

1. If I bought a collectors edition, could I use it, and effectively overwrite my normal edition, but gain the extra benefits (2 iconic unlocks and character slots for them, and better free books, and turbine points).

2. If I can use this, could I upgrade to the legendary bonus (and is that on sale too?)? I regret not doing that originally as I see all these owlbear companions running around.

Yes.

It's even better than overwriting; you get the combined benefits of both. This includes the extra TP, character slots, tomes, etc. from both packs.

Yes (I'm not even sure you need to have Shadowfell to apply the code, though you do need to buy it to get the code in the first place). Though the Owlbears aren't very good, FWIW.

The Legendary upgrade is not on discount, however.
