Default Has anyone found any update 29 loot with Vampirism on it yet?

I got excited for the new loot gen system due to Repair Skill enhancements and Vampirism.... and yet I fail to see any Vampirism weapons drop....

What I want to see is a Bastard Sword and a heavy mace Like this!

    +10
    Vampirism
    Paralysis
    Cold Iron
    Empty Red Augment Slot

Yeah..... No one I've talked to yet has even seen a single Vampirism weapon yet.... And I've been asking everyone XD

Anyhow if this weapon is not possible with the new loot gen update, my recommendation is that you make it possible!

I forgot that they had planned this, so here is a bump. I have not seen any myself.

I pulled a short sword that had vampirism (2d2) twice on it, they both proc on each hit too.

I've seen the same double-vampirism on a crossbow someone linked.

I haven't seen any yet but on a related note, I had to send in a bug report because it seems I can't create vampirism shards in crafting anymore. The altar doesn't seem to recognize the locus of vol as an ingredient even if you manually place it there. Has anyone else had the same problem since the update? Maybe it's just me.
Please give me a rep point. I need them to live

anybody know if they proc? I'm sure they wont after the next patch, but just curious about their current effects (my guy's not high enough level to use the double vampirism longbow on the AH, but it's an intriguing prospect)

I just saw (again, only on the auction house, but this was for 500 shards, which is way out of my capability) a piece of armor with vampirism on it. I'd really like to know if that comes into play

Well, I got a hold of a longbow with double 1d2 vampirism on it. It does proc upon attack, but only once. The second proc does not trigger. That being said, it's pretty neat, as long as the rest of the stats on the bow is useful. Probably not game-breaking or anything, considering the damage the baddies put out.

I haven't been able to get my hands on any armor with it on it, so I can't confirm if that works or not.

I have found a couple of items with the new vampirism on it and here is what I've found:

It does not proc twice even though it is listed twice on the time.
It does not proc for armor.
It does not proc when on a shield unless you shield bash (either actively holding down the shift button or have some sort of chance to shield bash.
It can come in lesser vampirism (1d2), vampirism (2d2) and greater vampirism (3d2). I have only found one item with 3d2 (a quarterstaff) and I expect it to be on the higher end of the loot tables and very rare.

My perma-death character has a double 1d2 effect on a buckler. But that's been it so far.

I have an elf slayer bow with Corrosion , and yeah it gets up to 4 hp for 2X vampirism.

This has been an issue since Mark of Death. The Locus of Vol was changed, and Cannith Crafting doesn't understand what to do with the new version of the item. It's on our fix list.

    Default 2 effects WAI?

I'm going to take a wild guess here that Vamprism being 2 effects is intentional. However, instead of having one effect that heals and another that causes damage, the healing effect is spawning twice on the item!

    That's my semi-educated guess anyway.
That's not lag, it's just DDO trying to become turn-based again.

I found a sword with 2d2(x2), and it was proccing for what I would've expected a single time with that character's hamp. I'm wondering if the folks reporting the double proccing are forgetting about their hamp...

I have a short sword and with hamp factored in, I believe it was proccing both 1d2s, although I will have to double check tonight. The vampirsm was only proccing once a second or so, however. The character was swf, so there was an internal timer of some sort on the vampirism. Is anyone getting the new double vampirism items to proc with each hit (if the attacks are coming fast enough to be well over once/second)?

    Can confirm this.
Haven't found all of the die versions of vampirism, but I have played and tested the three items quoted above.
