    Not riposte, but all insight bonuses to saves. If you fixed riposte alone, its not fix at all.

    Other insight bonuses to saves triggered issues because of Riposte. (Yes, in some cases, even if you hadn't equipped any Riposte items recently).

    The fact that some changes are necessary is not diminished by the fact that other necessary changes have not happened yet.

    You have no idea what you're talking about. Restarting a server doesn't magically fix issues where a code change is required. This is a game update that requires installing like any other.

    All "hot fix" means is that it's an emergency change with limited scope, rather than a massive game update with new features and stuff.

    personally IMHO the lag was caused by those trying to take advantage of these bugs...

    Played on my daughter's account for about 6 months till I could get my own computer. Opened my own account in October of '07 and haven't slowed down since. Keep up the good works gang and thanks for years of enjoyment!

    How about bows that add to doublestrike and melee weapons which add to doubleshot? Dire Radiance rings adding to acid crit chance, heck, most of the dire rings not applying crit to the proper element?

    if we all follow this example the game will die instead of getting fixed. their is no replacement for ddo... no other game has the same traits that draw us all here. the devs need to fix whats here instead of cramming more content into the damaged game. repairing the game could save it

    I liked it better when you necro'd a post from August 2013 to rage quit in. I thought it was SUPER HARD CORE to be so upset about downtime from 2013 that you were quitting TODAY! I was like, "Man, this guy has been seething and stweing for over 2 years....HE IS A KOBOLD ON THE EDGE!"

    it does amuse me when people quit because things are getting fixed. Of course you can argue that it shouldn't have gotten broken in the first place, but that would be in a perfect world with perfect conditions and no unforeseeable circumstances ever. Or in other words: boring!

    What server are you on. So I can have your stuff. Lack of Customer Care would mean NO hot fix. They are doing what they can on a old platform, Give them a break,

    Yes this hot fix is in the middle of the afternoon (for EST), but this is also fixing some game breaking issues. People not being able to log in and the issues associated with riposte which cause game freezing lag are a big deal. Fixing the game for everyone is a big deal. Is everything being addressed? No. But at least (hopefully) the user experience will be improved because of it.

    Remember the update (forget which one...) that had physics/clipping broken and people could fall through floors or agro something accross a whole dungeon? When game breaking code goes live (and remember, even if it works in testing, it may not work the same on live), it needs to be fixed ASAP.

    So, I'm really glad that stuff is getting fixed... but I'm wondering when things like this will be fixed:

    +0 Enhancement bonus to Concentration
    and +0 Insight bonus to Concentration
    At least they stack, right?

    Do you think the employees at Blizzard are there at 3am or something? No, they schedule it automatically at a time when no one is there, so they put off the fix at least a half day or more. I'd rather have a fix out asap when my client has 2-5 minute pauses every few minutes. More minor fixes, or content, or balance, sure, schedule them at funny times (and DDO does). Major performance? Get it out asap when it's fixed. I'm glad they're doing it this close to Xmas, and near the start of a lot of people's holidays (read: week of gaming ).
