I probably had no business running on Elite. And, I'm dead. I died in the final fight in Where There's Smoke... Just got overrun and couldn't get out to heal.

Had a good time running with various DNR's up to that point. In the end I was running with DNRshattira who has come over to Sarlona just for this event!

Ah alas poor DNR Brizel I knew him well, he was a adventurer of infinite jest and excellent fancy. However it turns out where there's smoke there's fire... and also orcs.

I may have caused Brizel's death (boooo/hissss)... Running as my 24 life main, Xcellency, I pulled the valve early.

However, I was inspired to roll a toon for this. DnrRose. plan is 12 bard, 6 fighter, 2 rog -- swf, swashy, vanguard. Should be survivalistic enough for this if I make it past 4th level. lolz

So more rule clarification: can xp tomes/postions be used?

What if my character came with the expansion pack goodies (starts with 6 XP pots).....my assumption was no so I haven't taken one but I didn't 'open the store' to get these.....so I just wanted clarification.

As a side note - DNRNothinthe Face is level 5 and still alive!!!!
So far I have mostly been running on Hard with Frenzy as my meat shield. A couple of close calls (2 kobold shamans casting scorching ray before I figured out I wasn't being hit by throwers and got hidden) but surviving as best I can.

So far my plan is 12/8 Rogue/Ranger...may be a 12/6/2 with Pally on the side but not until I have the 10/4 portion done (improved evasion and tempest tier 4 available)...assuming I survive that long I will figure out the next steps then.

Hey it was fun running with you while it lasted. My fault for getting in over my head a bit on that quest.

I haven't re-rolled yet and I'm about to go on vacation for a week, but I might start over when I get back. I'm loving how many people are making DNR toons, and the prizes might inspire more to join.
