Coming Back to DDO 5 Years Later

Thanks for the information everyone, I have been reading each and every reply! It seems to be a balance 50/50 of good and bad that i'm hearing, and to be honest, it's what I expected. However, I have seen multiple replies about the devs listening to the community, so that's honestly great. Every game has the room and possibility to change, and this one is the same. I plan to start a new character and run through everything later tonight! I might see if I can talk a friend or two into joining me, haha. I'll still keep reading anything anyone else has to add, thanks!

I'm guessing that similar to past years, the expansions will be on sale the week of Thanksgiving, so wait a couple of weeks and pick those up (sorry of this was already mentioned).
