Quivering Palm and new figher tactics feat

Does the lvl 4 fighter tactic feat work with QP and also does Know the Angles work?

I was under the impression that combat mastery items would work with QP as it provides a general tactics boost to dc, but doesn't seem to effect it. Fighter tactics enhancement seem to work as well as Legendary Tactics and the GMoF tactics, but what else can boost it?

These effects stopped applying to QP ages ago. That's actually why we have that stacking bonus to DC when it fails - they introduced it after entirely justified upset.

I preferred it when we got tactics bonuses to it. You don't get QP till L15 and within five levels it becomes near useless. I know not all heroic stuff should scale evenly into epic but come on. I mean ok, it does create a playstyle of 'use it on high fort mobs to build a charge so you can drop a caster every few fights' but its a lot less fun than it used to be and it's pretty expensive, ki-wise, to be dropping solely for the purposes of boosting the chances of it eventually working.

Just put the HP limit that vorpals and other weapon-delivered (fists are weapons!) insta-kills have, but put tactics back on it and drop the buff-on-fail.
