LOL! This will go great with the chest ransack mechanic in the Night Revels quests. Maybe bonus xp would have been a better choice this weekend?

The last time I saw players actually get excited over this bonus was so they could farm known high level quests for +5 tomes. I'm happy for the players that still rely on random loot, but I won't be running out buying loot jewels at the store.

Honestly I always found it to be a worthless bonus event unless you want to net a little more plat from selling random loot. Originally Posted by Cetus

But the only random gen loot that would be desirable is tomes, and after +5s they drop as named loot and those aren't affected... so what's the point? Originally Posted by Cordovan

I know +2 loot doesn't thrill the hardcore, but as a casual altaholic who is perpetually levelling dozens of first lifers, it's my favourite thing ever. I once cancelled going on a trip out of town because DDO was doing +2 loot :-D
