Default Flame Ferret and Tactical Donkey

It would be fun, if not too much trouble, to have these items added to Night Revels or another event.

Flame Ferret ~ You summon a hand held ferret that deals x flame damage to target. 3x uses per rest.

Tactical Donkey ~ You summon a wild donkey to run in and kick your target for x untyped damage. 3x uses per rest.

If we are doing ferrets and donkeys, then there needs to be a chimp, too

Not sure what it would do though--aggro magnet? "Chattering Chimp"

    Thumbs up

How about the chimp clickie be 1 x use per rest and grant 50% more hate per use. Maybe OP to make it 3x?

It would be great for grabbing aggro.

    ~

I also liked Nacho's idea from another thread about having a permanant lesser nemonic pot as well similar to the DW and FOM pots.

    Default Found it

    Found Nacho's post, https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthrea...=1#post5693266

Since Night Revels got the old Mabar loot, perhaps its time to start talking replacement loot for the Mimic Hunt?

Flame Ferret, Tactical Donkey, Chattering Chimp, and Lesser Nmonic Pot.

    Any other ideas?

    Default Sloth!

    you summon a slow
moving tree dweller that finds itself awkward and defenseless on the ground. Triggers a diplomacy effect for whole party as enemy mobs swoon at its cuteness and vulnerability. Works even on undead, double duration on kobolds.

I can't think of a snappy name for it, though.
Wiki dashboard with some useful stealthplay links. LONG LIVE STEALTH!
Proud Knight of the Silver Legion, Cannith: Saekee (main) and some others typically parked at some level to help guildies and other players

Default Potential Replacement Items for the Mimic Hunt

    The List so far:

    • DDoor Trinket, 1 use per rest via Nachomammashouse
    • Eternal Flask of Lesser Mnemonic Enhancement via Nachomammashouse
    • Flame Ferret, 3 uses per rest of X fire damage (clickie) via Livmo. Added value by FerretBabette; Flame Ferret of Lacerating (from a small set of random attributes).
    • Forsaken Sloth, 1 use per rest, you summon a slow moving tree dweller that finds itself awkward and defenseless on the ground. Triggers X diplomacy effect for whole party as enemy mobs swoon at its cuteness and vulnerability. Works even on undead, double duration on kobolds ~ via Saekee.
    • Tactical Donkey, 3 uses per rest to summon a donkey that rushes in and hits a target for does X untyped damage via Livmo

Please replace the Mimic Hunt reward list with fun and unique items. Some new cosmetics would be a boon.

But the ferret needz a shiny loot swiping attribute as well. It's kinda in the DNA. :-)
    Oh and toe chomping.

The Flame Ferret could have a random attribute from a small list, i.e., Flame Ferret of Lacerating!

Who remembers the story from 2003 about Morocco offering the United States military 2,000 mine exploding monkeys? ( The story apparently originated in a satirical publication from Morocco. )

Since many of you call characters with good trap finding and disabling skills "trap monkeys" (I presume in reference to the story above), perhaps the game would benefit from an actual monkey companion skilled at finding (and here I mean activating and dying horribly in) traps? Given the, umm, highly idiosyncratic behavior of hirelings with regards traps, the necessary algorithms for a "mine exploding monkey" already exist. I envision a new "banana" consumable to direct these unique (and here I mean useless) companions to the desired location.

Rachel the Rogue: I have discovered a deadly trap.
Bob the Necromancer: You know what this situation requires?
    Pete the Paladin: What?
Bob the Necromancer: A mine exploding monkey. *tosses banana into trap*
Mine Exploding Monkey: *leaps happily after the banana and dies horribly*
Pete the Paladin: Why did you do that???
Bob the Necromancer: I am marking the trap so that Ned the Newb, who we lost 5 rooms back, does not die in it.
Rachel the Rogue: I could have just disarmed it!
Bob the Necromancer: *sighs* Just run through it. You are a Rogue and I splashed two levels of Rogue for Improved Evasion. Pete has like a million points of physical resistance. We are wasting time here, folks. Let's get zerging!
