    Default Umm....ok...

Hi. This is a paying customer of your product,

My question is this...how are you suppose to be revamping the ranged system, balance? As it is called? If you do not have a game that is working properly? Or are all the monsters just suppose to stand there as i shoot all of their freinds 1x1? Cause they do. Please repair this broken game mechanic. Thanks.

This has always been a problem. Linked encounters do alert depending on lag and sometimes facing/distance but unlinked mobs do not alert on an attack unless they see the player making the attack. If they're facing away they will never alert.

Go to Epic Gianthold and most of your questions about how and why mobs alert on ranged attacks will be answered. Giants are alerting all over the place if they see you and if they are facing you they see you. Other mobs only alert on facing and proximity for the most part.

Yes, you can work the game mechanics to pretty much clear a zone 1-on-1 if you know how they work. That's not an exploit it's the product of being at range and mob facing.

A while back they made mobs alert when arrows hit from afar, but turned that off because it prevented some forms of close ranged combat as well as made ranged sniping impossible.

It worked from conception of the game up until about 4 updates ago. If they turned it off? They need to turn it back on, its definetly broken. How do crearures not notice their freinds being pelted with arrows?
