    Default Location for DPS-test kobolds

    Heard the thoughts on DPS-test kobolds for the live servers in the Weekly Wednesday Lunchtime Livestream (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CzHJg8KiVJU).

    I would like to suggest implementing them like the pvp challenge party option.
    It would offer the following benefits:

    Teleportation to and from the DPS-test area
    No "kill-stealing" if you go in solo
    No difficulty modifications like n/h/e quests
    Kobolds groups with a variety of CRs on 1 map could be possible
    With multiple locations like the pvp areas, 3D aoe testing could be done (kobolds on unbreakable boxes)

    How about implementing the option instead of "challenge party" when selecting your own character? "challenge kobold-dummies"?

    What do you think about this idea?

    I found two dps test kobolds in Through a Mirror Darkly the other day, so I think they've already been implemented

    This!!! The Training Dummy on the guild airship is outdated. Monsters in quests fight back; the only way to get their HPs high enough to do any testing requires Epic Elite, which results in having to stop to heal, ect. And even then, you're never quite sure what their HPs were.

    We need a test dojo on the live servers.
    Have a couple different test Kobolds in there, each with different (marked) attributes.
    This could act just like a quest for the sake of simplicity. That is, a private instance, unless you're in a group, in which case your party members could enter. Give it Heroic and Epic difficulties.

    Kobold #1:
    -0% fortification
    -Yellow named

    Kobold #2:
    -0% fortification
    -Red named

    Kobold #3:
    -100% fortification
    -Yellow named

    Kobold #4:
    -100% fortification
    -Red named

    Give the instance a difficulty selection, just like quests, that affect the Kobold's HPs. And give the option of entering on Heroic or Epic:
    Casual: 200 HP / 2,000 HP
    Normal: 500 HP / 5,000 HP
    Hard: 1,000 HP / 10,000 HP
    Elite: 5,000 HP / 50,000 HP

    If you wanted to keep it simple, then just leave it at that! If we wanted to spend more time on this idea and get more technical, add a timer the begins with the first hit and ends with the killing blow. Just have the total kill time display on the screen as white message text, or in the party chat.

    Cordovan pointed out that having the DPS-test kobolds in a quest would apply hidden mechanics that influence the DPS-test, thats why I offered the pvp-area option.

    The differences in hp and fort you listed would be the groups of kobolds mentioned in my OP
